Our diary here at The Dog Groomer is still currently closed, and I am not accepting new clients at this time. We are extremely busy and booked up weeks in advance. I pride myself on our 1 to 1 policy and delivering a stress-free professional service to your dog, which will not be compromised.

Well what a busy final Saturday pampering the last few pups of 2024 🥳

Thank you so much to all my wonderful clients and your beautiful fur-babies for your continued support and loyalty.
And for those Christmas gifts, it is very generous of you and greatly appreciated 🥰

Now time for a well needed rest and some quality family time 🎄
The salon will re-open on Tuesday 7th January.

🇪🇸 Saturday 12th October ~ Feliz día nacional de España 🥳

That means throughout this weekend, especially this evening there will be a lot of fireworks and bangers being set off.
Here’s just a few tips to keep your babies safe…

1. Try and walk your dogs during the day and in daylight, and not this evening. For risk of fireworks being set off and your dog being stressed and then making walks a traumatic experience
2. Try and walk your dog with a doggy friend who is calm and non-reactive to fireworks
3. Keep windows and doors closed, and even shutters, to muffle the sounds
4. Play relaxing music but with a ‘beat’… unfortunately classical music just won’t cut through the bangs.
5. Lots of positive reinforcement and cuddles but don’t over do it… don’t ’make a big deal’, just a quick good boy/girl and a treat.
6. Lots of fresh water available
7. If you pet is severely stressed or scared then do not leave them home alone.
8. Finally, always seek veterinary care if your dog is showing signs of deep distress like excessive panting, pacing up and down, foaming at the mouth
