How do you train your horse and dog to get along? 🐎🐩

It should be easy to train your horse and dog to get along but it might require a bit of patience and extra attention for both.

When you introduce the two animals, introduce them slowly. They're going to need to take time to get used to each other.

Keep your dog on a leash while you're doing the introduction. If your don't notice any extreme behavior changes, let your dog approach your horse (while still on a leash).

You can then let your dog and horse sniff each other. Don't spend a long time doing this but let them get used to each other's smells.

Lastly, reward both of them and repeat the process until they are comfortable with each other ❤️

Did you know that a happy dog is a tired dog? You can tell if your dog is getting the right amount of exercise by watching and seeing what your dog does afterwards. If your dog sleeps for the rest of the day then you probably overdid the exercise. If your pup wants to keep playing you probably didn't go hard enough. If your dog decides to rest afterwards then you've found the right amount of exercise!
