Billy is een vrolijke jongen van ongeveer 4 maanden oud en weegt momenteel 7.8kg. Hij is goed met andere honden en speelt graag.🐶
Billy werd 2 weken geleden gevonden maar nog steeds heeft niemand zich gemeld als eigenaar. Binnenkort zal Billy zijn eigen pagina krijgen op onze website en dus beschikbaar zijn voor adoptie.

Billy is a cheerful boy, approximately 4 months old, and currently weighs 7.8 kg. He gets along well with other dogs and loves to play. 🐶
Billy was found two weeks ago, but so far, no one has come forward as his owner. Soon, Billy will have his own page on our website, making him available for adoption.

I got my dog when I was just 19 years old and a single mother of 1. I kept my dog. I kept my dog even though I moved into an apartment and had to pay a $500 pet fee. I kept my dog when my boyfriend and I broke up and he kept the apartment even though my new place didn't allow dogs. I kept my dog when I ultimately had to move back in with my parents and she also was not allowed there. I kept my dog when I had my second child. I kept my dog when his father put all of us through hell and none of us had anywhere to go. I kept my dog when I had a penny to my name and we all ate nothing but buttered noodles for dinner. Ten years later I STILL have my dog because she is the very start of the huge family that we now have. Even though she's getting slow, eating less and turning grey I STILL HAVE MY DOG. I'm tired of hearing and reading about posts that say "getting rid of them because they don't love my new puppy" or "I want a new dog". Commitment is commitment.

En of we nog niet genoeg honden hebben die dure operaties nodig hebben, werd deze lieverd vandaag gevonden in de tuin van Thomas Zwijsen. Omdat hun zelf al 5 honden hebben, vroegen ze ons om hulp.
We spraken af bij de dierenarts aan het eind van de dag, en gelijk viel ons op dat ook deze hond iets mankeerde aan haar achterp**t. De röntgenfoto’s lieten zien dat ook deze p**t gebroken is. Wij wachten nog op het advies van de traumatoloog.
Ook voor Jackie kunnen we alle financiële hulp gebruiken.

And if we don't already have enough dogs that need expensive surgery, this sweetheart was found today in Thomas Zwijsen's garden. Because they already have 5 dogs, they asked us for help.
We met with the vet at the end of the day, and we immediately noticed that this dog also had something wrong with his hind leg. The X-rays showed that this leg is also broken. We are still waiting for the advice of the traumatologist.
We could also use all the financial help for Jackie.

Chris, 2 weken geleden werd onze hulp gevraagd voor een moeder met puppies. Op het moment dat wij zeiden dat we ze konden nemen waren de puppies al opgehaald door een andere rescue. Moeder bleef achter met een gebroken been en liet zich niet meer zien. Afgelopen maandag werd ze weer gezien en dinsdagochtend gevangen.
De röntgenfoto’s lieten zien dat zij een ernstige breuk had in haar achterp**t. Aankomende dinsdag word ze geopereerd. Deze operatie gaat rond de €900 kosten en hiermee kunnen wij alle hulp gebruiken. De rescue die de puppies heeft gaat ook voor een deel meehelpen.

Chris, 2 weeks ago we were asked for help for a mother with puppies. By the time we said we could take them, the puppies had already been picked up by another rescue. Mother was left with a broken leg and did not show up again. She was seen again last Monday and caught Tuesday morning.
The X-rays showed that she had a serious fracture in her hind leg. She will have surgery next Tuesday. This operation costs around €900 and with this we can use all the help. The rescue that has the puppies will also help in part.

Malinois fue encontrado hoy en Pizarra, sin chip. Si eres o conoces al propietario, por favor contáctanos vía WhatsApp. Posteriormente el Malinois es trasladado con passport, chip, vacuna antirrábica . Naturalmente, todos los gastos ocasionados corren por cuenta del propietario.

Rubio loopt goed mee aan de riem en is goed met andere honden. Ook gaat hij graag mee in de auto.🚗

🇳🇱 Heerlijk zo als de honden de stress alweer zijn vergeten, voor ons duurt dat nog even. Vanavond hopen we meer duidelijkheid te hebben over de 8 kennels die in de gevarenzone staan. Velen zullen nu denken waarom bouw je ze dan niet op een ander stuk, helaas komen ze dan te dicht bij een huis wat vlakbij staat en dat mag niet voor de vergunningen. 🇬🇧 Wonderful when the dogs have forgotten the stress again, for us that will take a while. Tonight we hope to have more clarity about the 8 kennels that are in the danger zone. Many will now think why don't you build them on another section, unfortunately they get too close to a house that is nearby and that is not allowed for the permits.

Fighting Dog Abandonement in the South of Spain

Alora Dog Rescue was created by Simone Jaspers and son Dylan to help with the growing abandonment of dogs in the south of Spain.

Having worked many years with various other dog rescues, we wanted to create a special place as an inbetween home and to help locate forever homes for the dogs we find in the Malaga area. All dogs are seen by a vet immediately on arrival to assess their medical condition and needs, and we spend a lot of time getting to know these dogs in order to help place them in the right forever homes.

There is a small adoption fee which includes transport for us to get the dog to you in Europe whether it be the Netherlands, UK, Belgium, France or another country. One of our main goals since the shelter is small is to expand it in size so we are able to help more dogs in this area find a great forever home with a loving family in another part of Europe.

All potential adopting families are screened so we can be sure these loving animals get placed in good homes which is what they deserve. We also accept volunteers for weekly up to monthly stays to come and help us onsite!
