Hello everyone.
Well, it took a little longer than the expected 2 weeks of being closed, but we are now back open for business in our new permanent location of Coín.
We had so much to do but finally we are back in a place we can now call our own, since we lost everything back in 2012 to the wildfire.
A section of the house is still under construction, so we are currently in a mobile home on the land until it’s finished. However, the section of the house where the grooming room & sleeping quarters for the dogs are, is now all complete which was our priority. The dogs are so happy and content here, which makes us so happy as this was a worry.
We’ve also decided to close down the pages for both MS Rescue and The Fury Finca.
A few months ago I (Kriztina) had my Facebook h@cked and then permanently deleted when I refused to pay a ransom. Despite asking for help, Facebook haven’t been able to help me access the pages and I’ve had to use a third party to post things, therefore, Instagram is now my only platform to share all our lovely stories and pictures. As some of you will know, the journey of MS Rescue has now come to an end, due to a change in Norwegian laws, meaning it was just impossible to continue as 99% of our dogs were being rehomed there. Since 2012, both Marianne and Siv were so successful in giving our rescue dogs a second chance in life, so we were all devastated when this happened.
This is when the Furry Finca hotel was born and the training to advance my grooming skills began. Proceeds from my services help us fund our Forever Home dogs who can not be adopted, so they now get to live out their days with us here.
We want to thank both Mariann and Siv for asking Phillip & I to join them on this journey, (as well as helping us both after the wildfire) as it’s been an honour to be part of such a

Well, what can I say. We are blown away by the generosity of a wonderful friend and client, who’s fur babies stay with us here at the Fury Finca. Normally in the summer months, we have about 4 big fans on the go in the area of the house used for the doggies to chill out and sleep, but now they have nice cool air, thanks to the new air conditioning unit Hayley and her family have helped us to buy. Being a charity and relying on donations, as well as the income from the grooming and day care to keep doing what we do, it just hasn’t been something we’ve been able to afford.
