A charitable Animal Rescue organization set up by founder Jacqui Ross in 2012 Charity Nº 11207. Literally every single cent helps us to save lives.

The Last Chance Animal Rescue charity has one aim - to help Animals In Need. We get no government funding for our work and so rely entirely on charitable donations. Every day brings new animals into the rescue, saved from the streets, from lives of neglect and abuse and abandonment. We repair, rehabilitate and rehome all these poor souls, and for those who are unable to be homed we offer a lifetime with us as a sanctuary animal. The team work tirelessly to home as many as possible.

Sandys operation is done.
The blood tests are back,
Both Sandy and Danny are positive leishmania. Both are now taking allopurinol, but ideally need the course of glucantime injections as the levels are high.
We have paid for both to be Neutered, passported, chipped and blood tested along with 200 euro paid off the 900 euro operation. We do not have the funds to cover the outstanding balance or the required additional medication, so we, once again, need to ask for your help. Please help us to care for our animals, we rely upon your support. Thank you so much for all you have donated to get us this far ❤️

Weight 13 kilo - Height to shoulder 46cm
lightweight smaller pod type.
Passport, chip, neutered, fully vaccinated, blood tested.
Extremely loving and just wants to please.
Gets on with other dogs,
Not suitable around cats.
Great with all humans. Loves kids.
Confident with strangers. is full of energy.
Currently in Last Chance Rescue Center. Pizarra, Malaga, Spain.

Today has been unbearable at the shelter. This is the registered temp showing. And it's not dropping 😩
This means constant attention to the dogs and cats. Regular misting and wetting of floors is essential to keep them as cool as possible.
I think I'd do time for air conditioning on days like today. Fans just act like being inside a fan assisted oven 🥵🥵🥵

Went to collect some donated plastic garden chairs and came away with this little munchkin who had been found in their swimming pool skimmer basket 30 mins before I arrived.
In panic I phoned Alex my dear friend who has helped me with cats before, I had nowhere else to put this baby so was a huge relief when he agreed to help us yet again.
Think it's a boy but not 100% sure as the baby was terrified.
So... We are actively looking for a home, currently in foster in Alhaurin El Grande, Malaga.

Bargins and Brise Brothers. Date of birth 19.12.2016 Cristina and Lana visit the shelter regularly and help us by playing with the dogs and taking fabulous videos hoping to help find them forever homes. DOLLY

AN UPDATE FROM POLLY! Thanks to everyone who went above and beyond for this little girl. She has been through the mill - dangerously high leishmania, kidney failure, anemia, 4 lost babies, reactions to medications, 2 blood transfusions…….. In and out of vets as her condition was up then down, The vets have been fabulous and have tried everything, until we seem now to have her finally stable. Her pup who survived for 2 weeks had no chance of making it even with us bottle feeding him due to the many factors relating to Pollys health issues during the gestation and premature birth. We pray this girl is now definitely going to make it, her demenour and her health are sooo much better 🥰 YOUR shares, YOUR donations and the love of everyone involved in this story has saved her life! ALFIE Still no home for this lovely lad. 9 years old and very very chilled. He would be a superb companion for someone who needs company. He doesn’t require a garden (most of our dogs do), because he wants to be at home. Scared of other dogs after he was violently attacked, prior to his arrival at the shelter. He is just gorgeous and my children love him. Let’s get him his sofa eh?

PEANUT This loving boy was so fragile and thin when he was found wandering the streets. It took a small team of people 3 months to catch him. He was seriously underweight, anemic and urgently needed a high protein diet to rebuild wasted muscles! He was so nervous and frightened yet has now blossomed into himself and is waiting here for his forever sofa! Please help us find him one.

DEE DEE Gorgeous Dee Dee is READY to GO! She is an absolute cracker of a dog!
