THE OUTPOST - Behind The Scenes Featurette
Here is little sneak peek from The Outpost.
Film is directed by Rod Lurie and it is based on a 2012 nonfiction book, The Outpost: An Untold Story of American Valor by Jake Tapper. The film will have its world premiere at the 2020 SXSW Film Festival in Austin, Texas.
For me this was dream project. I have always been interested in about leadership skill and how people act under pressure. This film explores these areas through different characters. Foley wise it gave so much – for example I tried to make some characters steps more bolder than others based on their personality which is of course always the case. But in this case it kind of felt bigger thing. I also bought some authentic USA military cloths and gears for the foley. Maybe these do not differ from non-military cloths but for me it give nice touch when I created the foley effects with them. I always say “this is my best work”…well this is probably my THE best work :D
This was really intensive project and oh boy how much I “ran” on the stage. I was pretty dead after this project so I am glad to see it coming out soon!
Amazing cast and strong performances from Scott Eastwood, Caleb Landry Jones, Orlando Bloom, Milo Gibson, Jack Kesy and Will Attenborough.
And of course amazing main sound team which tied it all together!
