Our wonderful Ares has had an amazing year so far. I'll do a full post of his accomplishes in the end of the year. He is not just beautiful, but a healthy, kind and goofy boy with the sweetest temperament.

This cutie patootie moved to her own home a week ago! Our one and only Vard x Ruu puppy Ulla (for me always Pulla which means bun in Finnish).

Kukui participated today in a mental description test. Her test results look exactly what I thought it would. I'm happy with her result even if it's not the best compared to ideal results for a ridgeback. She is not the bravest but she tries her best for me :)

Our Bavarian puppies are now 8 weeks old and most of them are in their new homes.

Yesterday we escorted Freya to the airport from where she and her new owner flew to their home in New York 🇺🇸. Freya is the first Kxoxo in the USA 😌

We still have two girls staying with us. Halia (miss baby pink) is waiting to find her own loving family. Ella (miss yellow) is staying with us until she can move to her own home next year.

Bruno, Mauno & Leona are living in Finland in their own loving homes.

Let me introduce you our 6 Bavarian Mountain Hound puppies... 🩷🩵

These puppies have been the most relaxed and quiet bunch of pups I have ever had. They have friendly temperaments and love to cuddle with people. Mom Hula and dad Enzo did a wonderful job!

We had an early ultrasound today for Hula and we got to confirm what I expected, she is pregnant!

Yesterday after sleeping for under 2 hours we took the ferry to Tallinn, Estonia for Tallinn Winner 2024 show. We had 3 Kxoxo dogs participating from Finland and one from Latvia. Our long day was worth it and one of us is still continuing today for BIS ring... 🏆

BAVARIAN MOUNTAIN HOUND PUPPIES 🩵
Hula gave birth to a litter of 6 Bavarian Mountain Hound puppies in the beginning of June. Puppies will be ready for their new homes starting from 22nd of July.

Yesterday was the day I have nervously waited since Kukui was born. We had her official xrays taken and today we received her gradings from The Finnish Kennel Club! Not perfect results, but nothing that would affect my breeding decisions with her. I have always thought that she would have same LTV as her dam Alma as they both walk in a similar style, and I wasn't wrong 😄 FKC xray specialist's explanations in brackets:

HD: B/B (a bit shallow hip sockets)
ED: 0/0
OC: Clear / Clear
LTV: 2 (symmetric)
VA: 1 (extra pair of ribs in L1)

Spondylosis grading will be done when Kukui is 2 years old, for now her spine looks clear of spondylosis. So far Kukui has been a healthy dog with a temperament I'm proud of. She is kind, active and stubborn dog who has a mind of her own but always possible to bribe with food 😉 She has never caused any trouble and is the sweetest soul.

I'm planning a litter for her in 2024-2025.

Finnish Junior Winner title was won by Kxoxo Azalea Agera in 2018, and her daughters Kxoxo Ice Ice Baby in 2022 & Kxoxo Ain't She Sweet in 2023. Time will tell if there will be another generation to compete for that title.

Yesterday Hippu (Kxoxo Amortentia) with her owner Rosa took part in their first two rally-obedience trials. Both trials went well and they got 2 approved results from the novice class! Good job girls! Thank you Rosa for giving Hippu an active life 🥰
