Their lower bodies are inside the hide but by the way he's riding her and twitching and rubbing around and now laying there on her. I think its official!

Toffee was hungry after spending a few days with a young male. In 3 days she will get to spend another few days with a different male!

Would anyone be interested in normal hognoses?

If the breeding doesnt work I can match my big girl with another male to make normal's.

If things don't work out, I could always breed my Toffee to one of my albino's and just get some normal wild types. The little guy seems a bit nervous of his big lady so it may not work. BUT-

Would you rather wait until I can breed special morphs?
Or
Would you like to have some wild types?

A bit of sad news.
Unfortunately my Lavender isnt quite big enough to breed safely so I will be waiting another year or two for her. I want to be as safe as possible.

My large toffee belly het toxic and my axanthic het toxic are both on the course for breeding this year. But it all comes down too if he is scared of her or not.

I will be waiting and looking for locks. If I see a visual lock I will let everyone know. So far, they are both just twitching.

Update!: It puffed up a little and hand tingled a bit but its all good a day later. Like it never happened at all.

For anyone that doesnt know, hognoses are rear fanged venomous but their venom is more like a bee sting. The more they chew the more they inject. So you want to get them off rather soon. I can post a video about how to remove a hognose if they bite in the future!

It's with a heavy heart that I will need to find a new home for my crested gecko Spyro. I have so many reptile projects that need to take priority right now and I unfortunately can't take care of his enclosure with my disabilities at this time. Nor can my partner.

He will be available with or without his enclosure. Cost will be higher with enclosure as it will come with everything. He will just need new branches and decor as most of his plants have died.

Meet my new male!

He is Axenthic het Toffe. He will take the place of my Toxiconda for the breeding season since my toxic isnt eating and growing as much as he should be.

So to keep plans on schedule we have this beautiful guy!

Mochi is being a bit difficult with the change of weather. She's been refusing to eat, but hopefully she will keep eating now and then so she'll be ready for spring.

All the babies are still eating just well, the Toxiconda has started getting really eager for food even if still very defensive, Haha!
