Today our Bessi, and also Aku with his owner Minna, participated in Unkarinpaimenkoirat ry (Association for Hungarian Sheperd Dogs) show judges training.

It is very important the judges see live Komondors when they are studying the breed!

Bessi and Aku enjoyed the attention while modeling! We are thankful for the opportunity to participate!

Our cat Leon stays mostly inside, but today sunny weather made him come with Bessi to walk. Komondors are wonderful dogs both with children and other pets! ❤️🐈

Sziszi & son Achilles walking and playing 🌞

Since Achilles was puppy, Sziszi ”play-fighted” with him the most from the litter. Nowadays poor mama starts to be too small as a ”fighting” companion. Bessi being a little bit bigger girl, is the perfect match. She just needs longer provocation from Achilles before the game starts 🤭.

Berti and Aki (Achilles) are not anymore friends for games. (Komondor males rarely tolerate each other). Old friendship is gone, now that both start to be adults and we don’t want to take unnecessary risks.

This was first glimpse for coming, sunny February days, after long winter darkness. Can’t wait to have more weather like this! 🌞

Achilles was the happy and lucky one, who was chosen today to join us to the store. It was cold and rainy, but at least he was able to make a few people to smile only with his presence! ❤️😊

It is so important to show this rare breed in these everyday situations too!

Helsinki Winner Shows 7.-8.12.

What a weekend with 6 Komondors participating! It has been a long time since this many Komondors were in show in Finland. Four of the Komondors were bred or owned by us.

Von Petróczy Akuaba and Atlas participated in junior class, both got excellent and Aku even got Junior Winner titles both days! 👏🏆 Super happy for these boys! And thankful to the owners who made the long trip to promote the breed with us! ❤️

Our Sziget Királya Bestia “Bessi” and Szêpladányi Betyár “Berti” got reserve Nordic CACIBs on Saturday 🤩 Bessi was ”excellent” on Sunday too, but Berti’s tail took over 🤭 and he got ”very good”.

Dogs were so well-behaving and sweet all weekend and got a lot of attention. It is always very happy moment too see so many enthusiastic people wanting to know more about Komondors ❤️
