Handsome Milou had a 1-2-1 training session with me this week ⭐️ He’s a little anxious of new people and can get a bit cranky let’s say, at the vets and groomers! 😅 So we worked on desensitisation and management strategies to help ease his anxiety and change his emotional set point. Well done Mr Milou! 👏🥰

Take advantage of this opportunity for a leadership-building experience between you and your pup. Perfect for dogs who are anxious/excitable/reactive, we walk together on-lead and work on building skills of engagement and focus, whilst socialising neutrally, building positive associations around their triggers AND having so much fun with games and trick-training to boot! 🤩

🐶 Do you yourself find your outings a little stressful and crave more relaxed and pleasurable walkies?

Then please feel free to join ‘TRAILS & TAILS’ structured on-lead group walks guided by your local dog trainer - me! 💫
What’s more, proceeds from EVERY walk will go to the wonderful French Riviera Animals Association! 🙏🏻

⭐️ Great for dogs and people wanting to grow calmness and confidence around others

⭐️ Great for practicing loose-lead handling skills and building focus and engagement

⭐️ Great for meeting like-minded people and creating a lovely supportive community of walkers

⭐️ Great for gradually counter-conditioning and desensitising our dogs to other dogs in a semi-controlled environment

➡️ The fortnightly group walk takes place in a range of different locations all within a 5km radius of Antibes.

➡️ Dogs will be kept on-lead and owners are encouraged to allow space according to their dog’s needs. There will also be an ‘Enrichment stop’ included where we can practice our dog’s ‘settles’ around one another. So please feel free to bring a cushion, flask of tea/coffee for yourself and something to lie on and chew/lick for your furry friend! 💕

N.B. If you feel it is too soon for you and your dog to join an on-lead group walk, please feel free to get in touch regarding my 4-week intensive courses and 1-2-1 training sessions. Many of my clients who have attended the courses in the past will be coming on these walks as they now feel more equipped as they have already primed their dogs with skills of engagement and focus, as well as having worked on counter-conditioning exercises etc., so they have the foundations to put their new skills into practice 💪🏻

A little about me:
My name is Tracey of Affinity4paws, and I am a dog sitter and trainer of over 20 years, based in Antibes. I am officially licensed in France (ACACED accreditation), fully insured (MMA), hold a Masters in Psychology and Animal Studies (MSc), a diploma in Dog Training and am certified in Canine First Aid. As a dog trainer, I provide bespoke 1-2-1 as well as group sessions based on positive reinforcement and games-based concept training. I am a relationship-based trainer and work on the cooperative relationship between the owner and their dog to achieve mutually beneficial results, whilst at the same time enhancing and strengthening the relationship. I have extensive experience working in Devon, New York, London and now the South of France with all different breeds, and some high-calibre clients, most recently helping to train Stella McCartney’s gorgeous Collie in London. As a dog sitter I provide a home-from-home for your beloved furries, with atleast four walks per day and I only care for up to three dogs at a time to ensure maximum tummy tickles and attention for your VIP’s 🥰

I had the pleasure of meeting this handsome boy the other day for a private training session 🥰

Enzo was found starving to death and these wonderfully kind people took him in to nurse him back 💕

Being a hunting dog and only 8 months old, they wanted to help him with his focus and obedience training. We worked on building engagement, basic obedience skills to strengthen the relationship and provide structure, as well as working on threshold training to help him with his impulse control and understanding of the boundaries of his foster home ⭐️

He did brilliantly! 🤩 And I’m very happy to say that he’s already found his forever home! ❤️ Have a wonderful life beautiful Enzo! 🙏🏻😍

We all had a lot of fun again this weekend at my “Trails & Tails” Structured Group walkies 🤩❤️
We always stop for an enrichment settle near the end. This is a fantastic counter-conditioning opportunity where we can help grow calmness, confidence and build positive associations for our dogs, whilst also having lots of fun and building value in us as their loving leaders! 🥰 Thank you to all for coming 🙏🏻 See you in two weeks!

Such great structured training walks this weekend! ⭐️ - Saturday was fullly booked so I created a second walk on Sunday, and two lovely husbands of my clients also joined with their second dogs! 🤩 A very successful walk and some fantastic focus and engagement from the doggies. I had the most wonderful birthday weekend and thank all of you again for all your lovely wishes 🙏🏻🤗 I’m extremely blessed for all of the lovely humans and four-legged friends in my life! 🐶 💕 One of the highlights however has to be Riva singing me ‘Happy Birthday’ 🎶 which is her favourite song in her repertoire! 🤣🤩❤️
