RIP Fidget ❤️❤️❤️

Little miss fidget came into our care just on a year ago abandoned in a terrible state full of mammary tumours. Photo on the right shows she had no fur on arrival.
She went through long surgery and much rehabilitation with us and then she went to live with the amazingly wonderful SHELLY WILSON who adores all golden oldies and cares for them like no other. Picture on the left was Fidget just a few days ago, the fur, the face and the attitude ! ❤️. It’s a sad story today Fidget has now gone to sleep forever the cancer had returned and she couldn’t fight it any longer, BUT she had the BEST year of her life in her final year and for that we are SO grateful. Thank you Shelly Wilson for ALL that you do, everyone at Bojangles is indebted to you ❤️❤️

It's been a long hard week for our team, losing Reggie was tough.

However, these two wonderful mature ladies, made us smile again today ♥️. We have been fostering Leoni on behalf of Phoenix association a wonderful animal charity. Leoni is 12 years old and came in need of major surgery and much care. Thanks to the expertise and skill of the veterinary care at Clinique Saint Pierre Moissac and the dedication of volunteers both ours and Phoenix, today, Leoni was taken home to Valerie. Am sure Valerie won't minde me sharing with you that she too is of an age, but these two girls are going to cuddle up together for the winter, share a sofa and enjoy the sunshine when it returns!! We are so thrilled with this happy ending ❤❤

OLLY

Having looked for a little while for a small dog from rescue organisations I was introduced to Bojangles as the owner Dee was looking for a home for Olly a Yorkshire terrier cross. Olly was actually Dee’s friend’s dog who entrusted him to her to care for and find a forever loving home for him knowing her illness was terminal.
When I contacted Dee Olly’s owner had died and Dee gave me a full history on Olly’s character and the type of home, he would be best suited too. Dee was also very thorough in asking questions about my circumstances, what type of dog I was looking for and how I could meet the needs of what Olly would need from his forever home. Fortunately, the needs of Olly and what I could offer him matched perfectly and I now have the most beautiful loving little dog as part of my family.
Olly is my third rescue dog and what I have learnt is that it is so important to really get to know the dogs character and really understand if there are issues that need special care that this is identified and adaptions in care are made to ensure the dog feels comfortable, secure and loved. I found Bojangles are able to do this and ensure that prospective owners are clear of the dogs needs and raise the right questions for prospective owners to ask themselves if this dog is the best match for their families.
What I was also impressed with was that Dee emphasised that if when Olly came into our family the adoption did not go well then, I was to contact her so he could be returned, and she could find the right family for him. I found this very reassuring as it so important that the adoption of a dog is right for both the dog and the new owner.
Bojangles also is keen to follow up and find out how the adoption is going and will give advice if it is needed. I regularly send Dee pictures or videos of Olly, so she is reassured he is happy and has found his forever home.

THE FLOOR IS YOURS ❤❤❤

Old dogs, I’ve had a few. I know I won’t have them for the longest time but I will have them for the best time and love them like they should be until they “leave”.

I first saw Little Miss Fidget on Mr Bojangles Rescue page a couple of months ago. She was a cutie, a button eyed beauty, a little dog down on her luck. Abandoned by her “family” after ten years with a skin complaint and a mammary tumour. My heart melted but I lost my last little oldie only a couple of weeks before.

I read she came through her first surgery and looked just as gorgeous in her “cone” with her monkey! I kept in touch with Dee because I hoped she’d find her perfect forever home. But up to the beginning of September she hadn’t. I knew she was going to be mine.

I had things to do out of the country and then I’d come for her. Timing was perfect as she needed her second surgery and some recovery time. So after being signed off by the vet, she (and her monkey) came home!

It’s like she’s been here forever and I adore here

What an amazing story it’s slightly mad !
Rosie came into our care about 5 weeks ago having been found in the centre of town by a kindly soul. Clearly in a bad way we rushed to her the vets where she spend four days in intensive care. To our delight she survived and has since been living with a lovely foster family locally to recover.
This afternoon we reunited Rosie with her owner of 14 years !!! She went missing on him five weeks ago and he believed she had died. Through the power of FB a friend sent him our link from here and Rosie is now back home with her owner. Real name Pompon the owner was overwhelmed to have discovered she was being well cared for AND less than one kilomètre from his home ! Thanks to the team of Bojangles, Clinique St. Pierre vétérinaire, Tous’tou doux, Odette and Kevin this remarkable story now has the happiest of endings ❤️❤️❤️

Quelle histoire incroyable... c'est un peu fou !
Rosie nous a été confiée il y a environ 5 semaines après avoir été trouvée au centre-ville par une âme bienveillante. Nous avons emmené Rosie en urgence chez le vétérinaire où elle a passé quatre jours en soins intensifs.
Pour notre plus grand plaisir, elle a survécu et vit depuis avec sa famille d'accueil pour se rétablir.

Cet après-midi nous avons réuni Rosie avec son propriétaire de 14 ans !!! Elle avait disparu depuis cinq semaines et il pensait qu'elle était morte. Grâce à la magie de Facebook, Rosie est maintenant de retour chez elle avec son propriétaire. les retrouvailles de Kevin et Rosie, Pompon de son vrai nom, étaient très émouvants. Grâce à l'équipe de Bojangles Rescue, La Clinique Vétérinaire Saint Pierre Moissac, Tou'Tous Doux, Odette sa famille d'accueil et Kevin cette histoire remarquable a maintenant la plus heureuse des fins ❤️❤️❤️

[ROSIE] , jolie demoiselle trouvée vers la Rue de Révolution dimanche soir par une famille de Castelsarrasin.
Nous avons emmener Rosie à Clinique Vétérinaire St Pierre Moissac où elle est hospitalisée pour quelques jours. Un bilan complet a été effectué afin de pouvoir mieux la soigner. Rosie n'est ni pucée, ni tatouée et est maintenant sous notre protection.

Rosie va bien. Elle mange et boit correctement.
Les tests pour la leucose féline et le sida du chat sont tous négatifs (Très bonne nouvelle).
Les organes fonctionnent tous correctement à l'exception des reins dont on ne sait pas encore l'etat puisque Rosie a été très déshydratée et l' est encore. Elle reste sous surveillance à la Clinique Vétérinaire Saint Pierre Moissac.

Little Fidji our 10 yr old who was left by her owners came through major surgery yesterday and has just enjoyed some chicken and a little walk. We would SO like for someone to love this girl ❤

Beautiful friendly loving Baloo deserves someone to love him as he WILL love you, a super friendly fruitcake ! Chained up in a garden possibly for the two years of his short life 🙈bundle of energy and will be a wonderful dog for someone who can provide exercise for him. Olly update ❤
3 months ago Olly's mum died. before she died she organised the transfer of Olly into our care, we promised to look after him and find him a wonderful home. We did just that! Olly is now living life with his new family and brother in the UK - this is what rescue is all about Xx
