Good evening fellow Felines and Friends. Here we are already in the month of October! Where did summer go? It seems times goes by faster and faster. Of course that really only applies to you humans. We felines have mastered the art of stillness. We profit in every moment to be present and in the now.

In these pictures, our felines friends from the ranch have also posed for us. Thank you to Bubulle and Pocus for their contribution.

How can you get still and present? It can be something simple, like meditating, walking in nature, or just simple petting your cat. Breathing mindfully, and just allowing us felines to help you will go a long way to helping you come back to yourself!

Hello my fellow Felines and friends. My person has finally made a hommage to Miss Whiskers. We are now just four fur babies here in Alsace. She is still being missed by Piccola who wanders around the house meowing for her old friend. Grief is felt by us felines as deeply as it is by humans. A piece of our heart is broken and a hole never filled again. But with Time and Love, we begin to heal and we learn to continue to live. The memories are always bittersweet. Namaste-meow!

Hello fellow Felines and Friends. Life is full of changes. It has been nearly 9 months since Messina passed over the rainbow bridge. For nearly 8 months, his sister Piccola was sad and distant from the rest of us. But Tinka, the Mischievous, persistently chased her during meal times and tried to get her to play. 13 year old v.s. 5 year old.

Time, however, does heal. Now Tinka and Piccola, also known as “The Blackies” are sharing a cushion. And Piccola has started grooming her as she did with Messina. Life is good.

Hello my fellow Felines and friends. It has been awhile since I have posted. Time waits for no Feline nor Man. Ms. Whiskas has been ill and this has taken up some of my person’s time. As we age, we become more susceptible and sensitive to our food and to changes in our environment. This does not mean that we are disposable. In our household, we are 3 seniors(12 & 13 years old) and 2 youngsters (5 years old).

It is important to remember that we all age and we all can be sick. What is most reassuring is to have people in our lives who care about us. Our person does her best to be there for us as well as the cats at the ranch who have adopted her.

Where can you be of service? Do you have a friend or neighbor or maybe a family member that needs some TLC? Reach out to them. And do not forget to give yourself some TLC as well!

Hello my fellow Felines and Friends. Happy Thursday. Today we are doing TBT of Messina and Piccola better known as the Sicilians.
This is one of the final pictures of them together…brother and sister.

Family is important to you humans as it is for us Felines. Love without reservation, and know that disputes don’t need to linger on forever. Love is the key to everything. And remember Friends can also become Family, particularly when your own family is far away.

Be there for those whom you love and remember to be there to love yourself. For without that, you are an empty shell. Fill yourself up first and then you can give to others. Have a lovely day!

Hello my fellow felines and friends. We are well into Spring. And our human continues to put bird seed in the feeders. This gives us much entertainment as we can watch the birds from the window ledge or from our cat trees.

What entertains you? What distracts you? Where do you need to focus your energies on at this time?

These are deep questions that require you to be silent, honest, and loving towards yourself. Take the time to rest and recharge yourself. Journal your thoughts. Breathe and just be. Smile.😊

Hello my fellow friends and felines. This evening our human came home with flowers and plants. Oh we were so happy to run and play with her as she cut back shrubs, removed dead leaves and branches. Oohhh but digging in the dirt was by far the best! Tinka and Bounty were playing in the fresh dirt and then chased each other under the hedges and up the trees.

Afterwards, as our human was cooking dinner, she paused to play with us. PLAY…when was the last time you did that? Do you remember how to do that? We Felines can help you to stop your mind chatter and just relax in the moment…and laugh aloud at our feline antics. We have a toy called « Birdie ». A type of fishing pole with feathers…which we adore. Our human played with us and just relaxed and laughed.

Let go, be simple, enjoy the moment.

Good evening my fellow Felines and Friends. The day is winding down for my human. It is raining and this is the best time for us felines to nap…curled up in a ball or stretched out, each in our favorite spots. Lazy Sundays are good for the soul, and a rainy Sunday gives you an extra excuse to slow down and be present.

Breathe yourself back to presence. Turn off the television or get off your devices and just listen to the rain and breathe. Be present in the moment. And if you fall asleep on the couch, no worries. It is because you need to rest.

Hello fellow Felines and Friends. Tinka and Bounty wanted to check in and say hello. Tinka says “yellow is to help to be bright and sunny like the sun. She needs a bit of that since the last few days have been grey and chilly.

Bounty on the other hand is relaxed and at peace. She played with some toys sprayed with catnip, so all is well in her world. Actually she is a very zen cat. She loves her life fully.

Earlier Tinka was jumping everywhere and exploring everything. Now she rests.

Do you recall the last time you played? Do you remember the last time you gifted yourself a day of rest…a pyjama day as our human calls it?

Work, play, rest. There is always a balance to it. We Felines do not have the constraint of work. But nonetheless play and rest are important for it balances life, mind, and soul.

Hello Felines and Friends. I know it has been awhile since we have checked in. Have you noticed the stirrings of Spring? Little green shoots, tops of hyacinths breaking through the brown soil, the birds flying about to and fro collecting bits for theirs nests? Well, Enzo and Bounty certainly have. They are out most of the day and night with the warmer temperatures. Feathered friends watch out!

What new ideas or desires have you planted? What is stirring awake within you? Take a moment and feel into these questions. Breathe deeply and consider what you want to bring to life at this time.

The days are growing longer. The weather had been unseasonably warm here in Alsace, France. There is a feeling of hope in the whisper of the wind in the trees, and the windchimes sing Kyoto song in the great Cypress tree in the back garden.

Enjoy the little blessings in your life. Be grateful for today!

Be present, be yourself, be love.

Hello fellow Felines And Friends! Our human is doing a vision board challenge. And well Tinka decided to check it out. Of course she is a mystical cat after all. She decided to sit on circle in the center of the board. As if she herself was the connection to Spirit/Source/Divine.

In fact we felines are always connected. We live in the now. We are always connected. You humans need to work on that. Love from your heart space instead of your head space. Be zen! Get outside and away from your electronic devices. Listen to the vibration of Nature, and listen to the birdsong.

Enjoy simple pleasures! Be at peace with where you are now. Remember each day is new. You can be a better version of yourself! Namaste-meow!

Hello fellow felines and friends! A New Year has arrived. Thank goodness the fireworks are over as well. We have no resolutions to make as we are purrfect as we are.

But my human would like to be more at peace with herself. Find within herself, the inner child who was silly and curious…who loved nature walks and talking to any and all animals she met. Getting back to your authentic self takes confidence. It takes perseverance. Because being who you truly are might make some people uncomfortable.

Do not worry about them. We all have our own path to walk. As Oscar Wilde once said, “Be yourself. Everyone else is taken.”

Stand tall. Be proud. Live. Laugh. Love!

May 2024 be your best year yet!

Whatever you are doing this New Year’s Eve, whether it is a party or dinner with family and/or friends, or just contemplating alone, remember this - you have made it through another year. Look back at the lessons life has offered you and take the pearls of wisdom offered.

Who keeps you company? During this holiday season it is important to remember your loved ones and your friends - even those in spirit. Honor them by lighting a candle and telling them how they are missed and loved.

Hello my fellow felines and friends. Happy belated Thanksgiving, and welcome to the rush of Black Friday! Even here in France, there are many sales going on. Unbelievable ! My human saw Christmas decorations coming out at the same time as Halloween ! Do humans really need to be pushing holidays one on top of the other?

Yesterday, for Thanksgiving, our human gave us some nice wet food with our kibbles. And each of us got her undivided attention and love. It was heaven. She thanked us for being her support system, her sounding boards, and of course her clowns when we get crazy with catnip! What are you thankful for?

Even though the holiday is once a year, it is important to have a grateful heart everyday! Count your blessings instead of your troubles. Energy flows your your attention goes. What goodness do you want to bring into your life? Think about that and not just a great deal on another gadget you think you need. We have so many cat toys, we don’t even play with half of them. Our human is thinking of donating our unused items to a local pet shelter. What can you do without? What can you release and help someone else with? Think about it! You will feel lighter and have less stuff to dust.
