Good morning Fellow Felines and Friends. I was mewsings as My person lay in bed, trying to sleep at 5:00 a.m. Excuse me but we Felines demand your attention!
Tinka paws usually with her razor sharp claws out, to get the maximum effect. She also pushes at the hand or fingers with her head, all while purring.
Piccola, the Sicilian, stays in the living room, and begins her caterwauling at 6:00 a.m. Often she follows our person to the kitchen with her insistant meow to be fed NOW!
Bounty and Enzo return home by 7:00 a.m. after a night on the town. It is suspected that Bounty uses her charm to mooch elsewhere as she is not hungry for breakfast. But she looks for love from the others, despite the usual rebuffs, she persists. She is always ready for snuggles and cuddles.
Enzo meows, runs to the bathroom and plays with the shower curtain. At times, he is in the cat tunnels or on the cat tree that has catnip on it. But for eating, he is quite serious. Demanding politely to hurry up, and wolfing down his portion before anyone is finished. Thus our human is fully trained. And that is how we like it!
After breakfast, we go off to our special to sleep, grateful to have a loving home, food, water, safety, and caresses a plenty.
How does your morning begin? With gratitude ? With peace? With frenzy? Just remember that today is a new day. One that you get to create. Enjoy the present moment. Give gladly and with love. And smile. When you smile at life, life smiles back!
