Hugues arrived with us a number of years ago, he spent quite a long time in a foster family, but as he got older and stiffer he became les and les tollerant of the other animals in the household. He needed a space of his own, a place of relative tranquility, so, sadly he had to come back to the refuge for his security.
During his life he had a torsion of his stomac resulting in him needing a special diet and complimentry medicin for life to help his digestion
This comes at a considerable monthly cost:
Gastro-intestinal kibble - 63 euros per month
Complimentary suppliment - 30 euros per month
He could really do with a warm home to end his days but his character makes this unlikely, but you never know, maybe you

DUKE German Shorthaired Pointer born 26/05/2022
Duke is adorable, he is very active and likes to run free but comes when called.
Excellent on the lead, he loves his walk with the volunteers, in the kennel he is playful and eager to go out. In the park, he loves it when you throw him a rope toy or a ball, but he must learn to give it back to you.
He doesn't seem to mind other dogs and has lived near several of them.
The ideal home would be a sporting family, someone with the patience to give him time to adapt to a new situation, and a garden would be good for him.

Duke is adorable, He is very active and loves to run free but will come when called.
Excellent on the lead, he loves his walk with the benevoles, in the kennel he is playful and eager to go out. In the Park he loves for you to throw a rope toy or ball but has to learn to give it back.
He does not seem bothered by other dogs and did live in close proximity to several others.
The ideal home would be with a sporty family, someone who would have patience to allow him time to adjust to a new situation, a garden would be nice for him

VIRKY is a small dog, hypersociable, she is a very endearing and cheerful pretty little dog.
She is not yet completely at ease on a lead, and will need further training.
This little female (6-7 kg) is a real ray of sunshine.
She is identified, vaccinated and sterilised.

Gloria, what a lovely dog, very endearing, docile and calm. She's cuddly and is geting to know the lead, she walks well without pulling. She says nothing to the other dogs. She still has a lot to learn so Gloria is looking for a family who has the time and patience to continue her education.

Berlioz is very affectionate, a cute, calm and cuddly little boy. A super little guy
Ok with other dogs, doesn't pull on leash, happy to play in the park or go for walks. He also lives with cats and chickens.
He is clean and good in the house.
He is looking for a family with a garden to relax in and a family who will continue his education and love him. He will reward you for his loyalty and many hugs.

Lenox he is adorable, he is good with children but can be nervous with strangers, He is very active and loves to run free but will come when called. He is very interested in other dogs but never aggressive, he has lived happily with a male dog before
He may be able to live with a cat after careful introduction
His is around 45cm at the shoulder
The ideal home would be with another gentle dog, male or female and someone who would have patience to allow him time to adjust to a new situation, a garden would be nice for him

Urgent For LOULOU :

Loulou, in the shelter since his was 6 months (he has 9 today) and needs more than ever to leave the shelter for his recovery. He underwent surgery following infected moles on his elbow, he can't go back to living in his kennel on the concrete, it is becoming urgent to find him a home,
No home with young children, he needs quiet. He has medication for a thyroid issue
Loulou needs a home with a garden, a quiet corner for him, so he can live his little life peacefully, with a human contact. You need to be able to brush him regularly to avoid knots in the fur.
