I have been breeding short coat chihuahua’s since 1989 in Caracas, Venezuela. One is lastingly hooked by the inevitable passion and addiction in which one falls from the acquisition of these little animals. They have never been able to see themselves in a mirror and quite happily will confront a Rottweiler or anything of a much larger size. To summarize my condition, I am the property of a Chihua

Due to numerous travel moves all over the world I had to pause my activities as a Chihuahua breeder and left Venezuela with my husband Paul and one year old daughter Sofia to go live in Baku, Azerbaijan. My only baggage being “Paloma” a 900 grms Chihuahua and “Vicky” a 5 year old whippet. After almost 4 years in Azerbaijan, life took us to London, England where unfortunately we were victims of the British bureaucratic QUARANTINE laws. One and a half months after the release of the dogs 6 month imprisonment, Paloma died from a rare disease…
It was not until 5 years later in 2007 when my husband’s work took us back to live in Caracas, where I then acquired with my daughter Sofia our next Chihuahua: “Luna”. From my past activities with Chihuahua’s , I already knew the best and most serious breeders of these dogs in Venezuela. We were extremely lucky to find Luna. She has been a source of entertainment helping us fit in to our new home by choice, in beautiful Dordogne, France. Here, with Sofia , now 12, we have decided to go ahead and start breeding Luna. We have then had the happy arrivals of Autana’s Dream Fabulous Flirt and Autana’s Dream Fergus Fast Track. AUTANA (our chosen affix) is a very famous “tepuy” in the Venezuelan Amazon where my husband and I had a romantic adventure before Sofia was born.
