Autana's Dream Chihuahuas This is a page dedicated to my love for the Chihuahua Breed. I have been a breeder of these wonderfu Enormous character that outsize’s them.

I have been breeding short coat chihuahua’s since 1989 in Caracas, Venezuela. One is lastingly hooked by the inevitable passion and addiction in which one falls from the acquisition of these little animals. They have never been able to see themselves in a mirror and quite happily will confront a Rottweiler or anything of a much larger size. To summarize my condition, I am the property of a Chihua

hua. Due to numerous travel moves all over the world I had to pause my activities as a Chihuahua breeder and left Venezuela with my husband Paul and one year old daughter Sofia to go live in Baku, Azerbaijan. My only baggage being “Paloma” a 900 grms Chihuahua and “Vicky” a 5 year old whippet. After almost 4 years in Azerbaijan, life took us to London, England where unfortunately we were victims of the British bureaucratic QUARANTINE laws. One and a half months after the release of the dogs 6 month imprisonment, Paloma died from a rare disease…

It was not until 5 years later in 2007 when my husband’s work took us back to live in Caracas, where I then acquired with my daughter Sofia our next Chihuahua: “Luna”. From my past activities with Chihuahua’s , I already knew the best and most serious breeders of these dogs in Venezuela. We were extremely lucky to find Luna. She has been a source of entertainment helping us fit in to our new home by choice, in beautiful Dordogne, France. Here, with Sofia , now 12, we have decided to go ahead and start breeding Luna. We have then had the happy arrivals of Autana’s Dream Fabulous Flirt and Autana’s Dream Fergus Fast Track. AUTANA (our chosen affix) is a very famous “tepuy” in the Venezuelan Amazon where my husband and I had a romantic adventure before Sofia was born. This is the beginning of part two of my Chihuahua life, joined by my husband Paul and my children Sofia and Daniel. How we became the property of a CHIHUAHUA...

With my heart torn and in my hands as I say goodbye to my beloved “Arepa” (nom de jeune fille: Loretta my pride and joy).
She’s been suffering heart weakness for several years now and last Saturday July 27th her weak heart said goodbye. She left on the same day we slept for the first time in our new home. She wasn’t ready to leave me. She looked at me as if she was saying please save me so I can stay with you forever. Such impotence! It is so hard for me to express the deep sadness that her departure has left me with. She loved only me. Slept with me for 12 years and took care of me, kept my feet warm and checked to see if I was ok. She followed my every move. We understood each other in a very special way. I will always miss her and I will cherish the almost 12 years she gifted me. Thank you and Guy Rigaut for allowing me to have Arepa. Every dog is a love story. This one has been so true. 😭😩

Textbook jealousy.
The accusations (by people I don’t know and don’t wish to know) against my friend Hedy van Tulder and Guy Rigaux are fed by jealousy which is the mere ‘envious resentment of someone for their achievements, possessions, or “perceived” advantages’.
I am confident that this humongous lie will soon come to an end and that Hedy will be reunited again with her senior four legged family that has been unjustly torn from her loving care.
I pray for Hedy and Guy to soon be free from this filthy attack against My Pride and Joy’s and their own integrity.
With humble gratitude towards them, I hope that during the imminent end of this affair, truth will prevail in their favour.
