Apologies I'm still having a few motor issues but doing everything in my power to get things sorted and to get to you all ASAP but playing catch up as well due to this issue. I'm out with my car 7 days a week so sometimes it has a bad day too and needs fixing. My partner is doing his best to help me with this too. It's causing me a great deal of stress and disappointment that I'm not able to get to everyone and I do apologise 😔please bare with me, I don't like letting anyone down

Apologies for not having much time to put up some updates been pretty hectic! But here are a few piccies from the last couple of months doing holiday covers, day to day tasks, some nice hacks, mucking out, haynet filling and pottering about with my own guys when I've been able to in-between. Managed a couple afternoons for some shows and lucky enough to be able to help show at Keith show too. Last event of the season for me to visit will be Blair horses trials for the final fling! Looking forward to seeing some of you down there. Have a great time!🥰🐎

*Weekends*

Due to working 7 days a week with very little if any time off I've made the decision to reduce weekend cover for the rest of the year. This is to hopefully allow for me to have a break and have more family time/own time for my horses as well.
Bookings that are already in will stay booked in so don't worry. I will also still be available for emergencies.
There will be the odd availability but will be limited. Apologies for any inconvenience but the last wee while has made me realise I need to look after myself a little bit more so need more time at weekends to do this.

I won't be taking any more bookings from thr 3rd-11th of August. I'm fully booked that week.
I'm also taking as much of a break as I can today so I won't be responding to any messages until Monday unless I am covering for you today.

This unfortunately is the type of post I don't like doing nor is it a sympathy post. It's a few feelings that have come to light that sadden me in a way. Being self employed is not an easy task and can be lonely as can many occupations so please try to understand if we have to alter things, we don't like too but sometimes plans change or other reasons ie- illness etc pop up and we can't control that. I will notify anyone as soon as I can.
With working 7 days a week currently I've felt a bit under the weather so I do apologise if I haven't made it too you but I need to listen to my body and if I get sicker I can't come out at all. It's a burden to us as it to clients as if we don't work we don't get paid either.
In offering what I do it has probably only a handful of times I've not made it or I have pushed through in 13 years. So I do apologise. I push through due to feeling some guilt and I feel I shouldn't need to as my goal is to never let anyone down and I still strive to maintain this.
But sometimes I need a day off or part of a day or feel a bit better when poorly. I have my own animals and family too.

So please do understand I will also strive to maintain my standard of work and to not disapoint the best I can. If I don't get to you that day or week rest assured I always will catch you up again so don't worry. It's a busy year and some jobs do have a wait list but I'm chipping away a bit at a time.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. I will always to the best I can but please understand if something changes or I get poorly I apologise and will get to you asap. Holidays will be covered so no need to worry.

*Cancellation Policy/New Rates*

Unfortunately due to rising costs I am going to have to increase some of my rates. I haven't taken this decision lightly and hope I wouldn't have to make it. I do apologise but along with rising costs I am also continuing training to keep up to date to allow me to continue to run the best service I can for you all.

Also I am going to have to introduce a cancellation policy- if you cancel with less than 24 hours notice I will have to ask for the normal rate of pay. If there is an emergency, weather or something else out with anybody's control I will make an exception. If possible though please let me know asap to any appointment changes.

Being a small run business I am doing my best to keep expenses as low as possible. Once again I do apologise for having to make this decision, it hasn't been an easy one to do. Any queries are welcome but I do hope to continue to work with you all, everyday is a pleasure😊

*If you are booked into any of the above dates though these still stand so no need to worry I will still be out to you😊I just won't be taking anymore on for the above dates and some of these I'm off and on in between shows. Some recent holiday covers and day to day jobs🥰wee pampering for the golden oldies in-between showers over the last few days along with washing legs on Clydesdales today and helping out bath a shire last week. Loving being part of a new team.
Also looking after some smaller clients too for the last couple of weeks🐈lots of holiday covers in still and more coming in. If you need any dates covered just give me a shout. Potential first 2025 booking has popped in already!

Well after getting fed up of going through about 3 coats a day whenever it pours all day I finally bit the bullet and treated myself to a Reincoat whilst down at the Highland show and it got its first test on Tuesday and I stayed dry! It's the little things 👍and here are some of my lovely holiday cover clients, regulars, and as well as becoming part of a new team at a rescue centre. It's definitely a very busy spell! Heres to more adventures 😊
