🐕 Winter Opening Hours 2025! 🐕
Just to let you know, like a lot of similar independent small businesses we’re reducing our Opening Hours for the quiet winter months … up until the end of March.
We will be Open 5 days week (hours above) and Closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Open all week during Half Term, from 17th February and then from 31st March for the rest of the year!

It’s that Most Wonderful time of year! 🎄
Our Dogs are gathered by the Tree in their Christmas Jumpers, waiting to see what Santa at his table has for them 🎅… sooo many Treats, Toys and other Presents!
Start with a Charcuterie Deli Board before enjoying a Three Bird Feast accompanied by some festive treats! 😋
Aldeburgh is looking so Christmassy now … why not come for the day and pop in for something special for your best friend(s) …. Check out the Amazing Bows and Bandanas, Toys and Treats … how about the Ball Gun in the corner (we have one!) … and for the Dog has everything how about Christmas Poo bags! 🐕🎁💩😂 …. They’re even compostable! 💚❤️

Earthbound Coats are back in! 👏

After a long wait (well 3 weeks!) we’re now fully Restocked in Earthbound Coats: the Wax and Fleece coats in all sizes in as well as the Daschund Specific versions!

We’ve also now got all sizes and colours in the various Collars, Leads and Beds!

How Cute is Woody! 💛
Woody brought his Pawrents all the way from Dereham to see us to get a New Coat, as like many Sausages hes got a big attitude and bark … but doesn’t like going out in the rain! ☔️😂
They’d seen us on the site and so knew we did fitting and have lots of different types of coats and many perfect ones for Sasuages (look at the last few posts to see!) … Woody tried on a few including the Daschund Wax and Tweed from and the wonderful fleeces but settled on this amazingly cute and popular wind and waterproof number from 😃

New Window … Autumn Leaves 🍁🍂🎃
As the Season changes our Dogs are wrapping up to keep Warm and Dry 🔥 … fitted out with Coats, Fleeces and Jumpers …. we have a dozen different coats in sizes fitting the smallest Teacup Yorkie to the Biggest Mountain Dog, from Fashionable Tweed, Wax, Puffas and Yellow Raincoats to Practical Goretex and 2 in 1 coats as well as wonderful water resistant 4 Legged Fleeces .. and more … !
There’s also lovely Snoods, Blankets and Dry Mitts and Drying Coats …. as well as Beautiful Collars, Leads and Harnesses. and Toys ..
… we also have Halloween Cup Cakes 🎃…. Oh and look in the corner … we’ve got Advent Calendars … and they’re going fast! 🎄… and in the other corner we still have the magnificent portrait of our Boy 🐶💕

Sausagetastic! … What an amazing time we had at the fabulous Southwold Sausage Walk today!

Amazing to see (and hear! 🙉😂) so many super Dachshunds … the weather held and everyone had a fantastic time .. and all for a wonderful cause!

Thanks once again to Laura and the team for pulling it out of the bag!

Great News that the Amazing Southwold Sausage Walk has got the go ahead for this Sunday (6th October 10am - 1pm) .. all thanks to the wonderful Laura and her Team conquering the mountain of Council Paperwork!

It’s Coming Home! ⚽️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
Looks like the Dogs in the Window are ‘Daschund to the Pub’ for the Euros 🍺
On the left our Sausage is dressed in Red for England (cleverly in a rain jacket just in case!) … and with a pint of Pedigree (perhaps that’s a hint!) … though being a Daschund we’re wondering if he’s secretly a double agent? 🇩🇪🤔😂
On the right our Terrier is in Blue (for Scotland 🙄) … he’s very sensibly wearing a cooling coat (they’re already going fast now summer appears to be here … we also have Bandanas, Towels and Cooling Mats!) 🆒😎
Our boy is a bit big to fit in the window pub but on the far right we have a Wonderful Portrait of him by the super talented artist … so lifelike and captures his essence perfectly 🥰

Happy Birthday wishes to our Special Boy who’s 2 today! 🙌
Can’t believe how time flies, it only seems like yesterday we travelled up to Doncaster on ‘gotcha’ day! … 2 Amazing years of fun and friendship later … and here we are … guess we can’t call you a Big Puppy anymore! 😀😂
We’re currently having a few days away (don’t worry the shops still open!) so lots of birthday walks and fun today … Love you Dillon 😍

New Window … D Day! 🇬🇧
To commemorate the 80th Anniversary of the D Day landings on 6th June 1944; our Dogs are on ‘Aldeburgh beach’ having a Tea Party 🫖 .. though looks like the pesky Sausage has brought some Pawsecco too! 🍾😂.
As ever our shop is packed with delicious treats, leads, collars harnesses (free fittings) coats, food, beds, grooming aids and essentially everything for the dog … oh and do check out our wonderful new Bandanas from Charlie the Corgi is modelling the Lobster print! … do come and visit soon! 🐶🐾💕

Happy 5th Birthday to us !5️⃣🐕🦮 🥳🎈🥂
Amazingly it’s 5 Years since we officially Opened the Doors in 2019 … and what a ride it’s been ..: so far!.
We left our ‘corporate’ lives near London to try something different … coming to a place we’d holidayed and loved to set up what we thought was missing, A Dog Shop! 🐶🛍️ … and we’ve never looked back! 😀
We look forward to each day, we’ve met so many people over the last 5 years and many have become friends, and seen soo many dogs, watching them grow, some from 8 week old pups to mature adults 🦮
It’s not all been plain sailing, we lost our Handsome German Shepherd Deefah just before we opened 🐕🥲 … and didn’t manage to celebrate our first birthday in 2020🦠😷
Five Years later, with the support of our wonderful customers, suppliers and friends and of course we have our new bundle of fun Dillon 🐶😂

Emma … Guess the Breed! ?🤔
We usually do these in Stories but thought Emma was so cute (and unusual) she deserved a post … let’s see who gets it first!😃
She was having a great time in Aldeburgh but very excited so pulling hard on her collar, could see the marks on her fur … so came to get a Harness … she’s quite long so we fitted her with an Express Harness … light and fitted perfectly and made it much easier to walk her in town! 😀
We do free fittings and every dog is different … we’ve chosen around 10 styles and always have a road (or pavement) test to ensure you get the right one … comfortable, secure and stylish … they’ll be wearing it every day so it’s important to get it right! 👍
Now then, who knows what Breed Emma is (her sister was a Crufts best of breed!)
