Merlin went out in the horsebox today for the first time! He was an angel loading at the stables, hacked out perfectly and then had a little stand off about getting back in the horsebox, but after some treats decided he wanted to go home! Successful trip out!

Yesterday we had the heartbreak & tears as we had to say sleep tight to our beautiful Ruskin, he went down with Colic early morning and after trying everything we could he gave up the fight in the afternoon when the sun was shining with his friend Snowdrop stood loyally by his side. Thank you for the 20+ years you gave us, it wasn’t a easy start as our very first rescue pony, and your stubbornness taught us a lot! But it was worth every step along the way with the joy you bought us, we will cherish the incredible memories with you and hope you are galloping around up there with your bestie Taylor 🧡 we will miss you forever 🧡

I forget just how bad Melody’s condition was when she came to us, she is such a character, no idea of personal space and always wants a scratch, but so much love to give! Thanks to everyone who came along to our rescue day yesterday, it really does help us keep helping horses and ponies like melody 🎶🧡🎶

Thank you to everyone who came along to meet our rescue ponies today, they all had a great time and we hope you did too! You all helped raise some great funds which will help cover their dental bill next week and some food stock for winter! We are looking forward to being able to hold some more meet and greets with them in the future! Thank you again and Happy Halloween!! ❤️🎃🐴❤️

Governor is overly friendly! It’s cute and funny at the moment but it won’t be long before those long legs really hurt! 👀😂

Cinders, Princess, Xena & Governor all went into a new paddock together today. I was expecting a lot of playing and charging about but so far the foals have just stuck with their mums, Princess has been quite curious but Governor isn’t too interested surprisingly!

We have a future show jumper on our hands! 😂 This little one now has a name!! Well done Alice from year one at Wyke Primary School for choosing her name. We think Princess suits her perfectly! 👸🏼

Princess has a name

I'm delighted to announce that this little one has a name! With Wyke Primary Academy children entering our competition there were lots of names in the bucket and the Headmistress Mrs Wilson drew the winner. There were some beautiful names suggested such as Cinnamon and Rose, my personal favourite being Jefferetta, the overall winner drawn was Alice in year 1 and the foal has the name Her name is PRINCESS! SO welcome to the world Princess and congratulations Alice. Your prize will be delivered to the school for Tuesday when the children go back after the half term

Much easier for grooming each other now all the matts have gone!

They love coming into bed! Coming when I call them has only been happening for a few days, I love it!!! ❤️🐴❤️

Hope has been handling this little guy daily and he’s loving all the fuss and grass! He’s still very wary and definitely not sure on men, but he’s coming round quicker than I imagined! ❤️
