We are currently in a spike of thefts of Quad Bikes, ATV's and Trailers - the team are working hard to recognise patterns and identify offenders but we need your help!

🔒 Please ensure that your security is as tight as it can be. Gates shut, machines and trailers are locked away with functioning cameras and lighting. If you do have a machine stolen, please report it immediately (asking for it to be flagged to the Rural Crime Team!) and secure CCTV images.
It's all about making thieves lives as hard as possible!

🔑 If you can - get the key barrel changed in your machine. A lot of agricultural manufacturers have security issues with their keys, getting a new unique one will help put obstacles in the way of thieves!

🚐 Smaller quad bikes can be concealed in large vans not just pulled on trailers so please report any suspicious vehicles in the area to us!

🚨 If you haven't already, please consider a tracking device! You don't have to use our schemes but trackers can really make a massive difference in returning the machine to you - two of the stolen machines were located as they had some form of tracker in them. Just make sure any devices are very well hidden!

The NCC, VIN CHIP, and NCC CRiS – proud to assist and support law enforcement in achieving the right result. Collaborative efforts like these are vital in safeguarding our communities and ensuring justice prevails.

SIX SUSPECTS CHARGED!

Following a 20-month investigation, working alongside the National Vehicle Crime Intelligence Service (NaVCIS), EuroPol and multiple UK Police Forces. We have now charged six suspects with Conspiracy to Conceal, Disguise, Convert Transfer or Remove Criminal Property. The charges relate to alterations made to and the movement of, stolen high value caravans between the 01/01/2020 and 22/05/2023.

The offenders aged between 20 and 72 and from the West Midlands and North East areas of the UK, will appear at Crewe Magistrates court at the end of this month for their first hearing.

As we enter 2025, we hope these charges serve as a strong deterrent to offenders who may consider committing crime in rural Cheshire.

The message we want to send is clear. If you come to Cheshire to commit crime, you should expect to find police at your door (wherever that may be), expect us to seize your criminally gained assets and expect to find yourself stood in a court room!

We will now continue to work with the Crown Prosecution Service to secure the right result for the multiple victims of this groups crimes.
