Happy Monday, friends!

Hope you've all had a good start to the week. I had a fun day seeing lots of fluffies.

I have to say a big thank you to for taking these snapshots during one of my sessions. Her beautiful little fluffball, Luna, was having her first maintenance groom since her matting removal a few months ago.

We were very amused when Luna sat waiting patiently while I set up. Her sibling, Sox, also came to supervise the session, and Luna loved showing off her trimmed up coat to Sox, afterwards!

Happy Friday, friends!

The suns out, and I've had a great week giving lots of cats their summer glow ups!

Here are some of the beautiful fluffies I've seen:

1. The beautiful Stevie, after her regular maintenance groom
2. The handsome Squeaky after his maintenance groom
3. The majestic maine c**n, Mimi, looking very chilled after her session
4. The marvellous Mango, looking very proud after I tidied up her long mane and coat.
5. The gorgeous senior fluffy, Benji, after his full groom and hygiene trim.

They are definitely all looking purrfect and ready for the weekend!

Happy Tuesday, friends!

It's been a lovely day seeing lots of beautiful fluffies. A special mention goes out to this handsome little chap, Loki, who isn't even a year old yet!

His sister Freya was actually the one having some knots removed, but Loki had a little bit of FOMO and decided he just had to check out what was going on.

He made us all chuckle when he decided my kit bag was a perfect place to have a little rest!

Doesn't he have the cutest little face and stunning eyes! I have to say it's the little moustache, for me!

I recently had the pleasure of meeting this beautiful Maine C**n, called Peanut!

This gentle giant had some matted areas around his back and tummy, and he was unsure about the clippers during his initial session. We split the session into two parts, and in the second session, Peanut was so much more relaxed and let me remove the matted areas with ease.

He's booked in for regular maintenance going forward to keep on top of the fluffy areas that are prone to knotting.

Isn't Peanut such a handsome boy!

Hello friends!

After a lovely trip away in beautiful Wales, I had a super busy week last week.

Pics 1 & 2: I had fun meeting Luna for her first grooming session... she had quite a lot of matting, but she was an absolute superstar on the table. Her sibling, Socks even came to see what was going on, which apparently was very out of character, so I felt very honoured.

Pic 3: One of my regulars, Flippy, decided he wanted cuddles instead of brushes! I was more than happy to oblige...perks of the job!

What a wonderful start to June!

Hey, friends!

Hope your week is going well?

Wednesday was a VERY fluff filled day. I had a few sessions booked in with my regulars, two of which were with these ultimate fluffballs!

Graffin (Pic 1 -2) is the fluffiest Persian I have ever seen, and he isn't even 1 year old! This was his first maintenance groom since removing some matting from his coat a couple of months ago. One of the challenges is working out the best schedule once the initial groom has been completed. For Graffin, 8 weeks was a little bit too long to wait, especially as we are in shedding season. Even with regular brushing by his amazing purrents, he was already developing some large knotting on his sides and back legs, so these were removed. The rest of his coat was given a good deshed, and you can see the insane amount of fluff that was removed in Pic 3!

Graffin is definitely giving me 70's rock star vibes with those long, luscious locks, and I can't wait to see him again in 5 weeks' time!

Margo (Pic 4-5) is another "little" superstar, and like Graffin was having her first maintenance groom since having matting removed from her coat. Margo is a very vocal little lady (you may remember a video I posted of her a little while back), and I absolutely adore her. She always comes to greet me when I turn up, and even after a little protest during her sessions, she is calm and relaxed afterwards.

Margo was definitely in need of a maintenance session. You can see the mountain of fluff that I removed from her coat (Pic 6). Like with Graffin, we have shortened the time between Margo's sessions to keep on top of all that floof!

And as always, it was an absolute pleasure seeing her and her wonderful purrent!

Hello friends!

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to all the wonderful fluffies and purrents that I've had the pleasure of meeting this year. It has been so rewarding to help so many beautiful fluffballs, whether it has been for just a one-off session or multiple sessions. It has been a wonderful experience.

I am looking forward to seeing my regular fluffies and meeting new pawsome friends in the new year!

Is there anything better than getting to spend your day seeing and helping beautiful little fluffballs!

This is my handsome little regular, Coco, who loves to follow his wonderful purrent around like a little shadow.

Yesterday, I was honoured when he let me hold him, and he even snuggled up in my arms. I'm told he doesn't let anyone else hold him other than his purrents.

My heart definitely melted! He is too cute, and he is such a good boy during his maintenance sessions.

Happy December, friends!

It's been a busy start to the festive month, with clients squeezing cat grooms in before Christmas.

Recently, I saw one of my handsome regulars, Casper!

Like many of my pawsome clients, our initial meeting was needed because Casper had some matting, and his purrents needed some help getting his coat back under control.

Every now and then, Casper still manages to get some smaller knots around his back legs and belly, so we make sure he has a regular maintenance schedule to keep his coat looking beautiful.

His lovely purrents took these pictures during and after the session. I think Casper rather enjoys his pampurr sessions...do you agree?

Hello, friends!

On this cold, wintery Thursday, I visited this wonderful fluffy boy, Squeaky.

I have to say that it's been a bit of a journey with this one. When I first met Squeaky, his coat was quite matted, and he absolutely hated being on the table during his sessions.

However, he did love laying on an old armchair, and so over several sessions, I managed to remove most of the big clumps whilst he lounged comfortably!

I returned today to remove the last knots around the base of his tail. His lovely purrent had fore-warned me that the armchair had gone, so I expected it to be a difficult session...

How wrong was I!

Not only did Squeaky greet me like an old friend, giving me head bumps and seeking scritches under the chin, but he also sat on the table long enough for me to remove the last knots!

To say we were surprised was an understatement. And, after cleaning that handsome little face, he didn't want to get off that table. How happy does he look?!

Squeaky's coat has grown back beautifully over the last couple of months, which puts him in a great position as we now work to build up his tolerance for being brushed more regularly.

I really can't wait to see this cheeky little fluffball again!

Happy Monday, friends!

I thought I'd share some pics of one of my regular fluffies, Ocean!

This stunning boy recently turned one, and I've been helping his purrents keep his coat in tip-top condition since he was only a few months old.

I have to say I absolutely adore him. He was so tiny when I first met him, and now he is a magnificent bundle of fluff!

The slides you see are from his most recent session, with some before and after pics to show what a difference a good brush out makes. He had a few knots around his face, and tummy whch I was able to remove. Ocean also suffers from staining around his eyes, so I try to clean these areas as much as possible each time I see him.

He really does look handsome, and I love how defined his amazing moustache is afterwards, too!

One of my fluffy clients, called Merlin, was so relaxed at the end of his session yesterday that he fell asleep on my hand!

I had a lovely message from his purrents to say that he was relaxed and in a good mood for the rest of the day and that his coat looked and felt amazing, too.

Such great feedback, I absolutely love my job!

Hello, friends!

Yesterday, I got to see some of my regular fluffies, two of which were this pair...the beautiful Gwenivere and the handsome Merlin!

Both had a few knots that had formed since I had last seen them, but I was able to remove them easily, with both fluffballs being very co-operative and tolerant.

After their maintenance sessions, Gwenie was super chilled; she really didn't want to get off the table.

Merlin wanted to show off his gorgeous coat, so we made a big fuss and told him how wonderful he looked!

It's always a pleasure seeing these two, and their purrents are absolutely lovely, too!

Hello, friends!

This handsome moggy is 17-year old, Pepper. When I first met him, he had a matted coat and wasn't keen on being brushed. It took a few sessions to get his coat to a good starting point.

Last week was Pepper's first maintenance session, and he was an absolute superstar. He sat for the whole session, and he even let us clip his long claws.

It is so rewarding to see my wonderful, fluffy clients making so much progress with each session. Having a little bit of time and patience can make all the difference, and it creates a much more pleasant experience, not just for the fluffies but for their purrents as well.

Hello friends!

These first few weeks as a full-time cat groomer have been extremely busy, which is great. I love helping new fluffies and seeing my regular fluffballs!

I have to keep pinching myself that this is all real!

My first official appointment since going full time was with the beautiful Cali, a 15 year old domestic short hair. Cali had a maintenance session to remove some dead fur from her coat. It was a lovely pampurr session, and I love the many colours running through her coat. She is such a pretty little lady!

Hello, friends!

It's been a while since I've put anything on social media, and there is good reason for that!

As a lot of you know, I've been building my cat grooming business whilst working full time.

It has been extremely tough juggling both occupations, and so a few months ago, I made the huge decision to hand in my notice at work. Last week, after 16 years, I left the insurance industry behind, and I'm so excited to be taking the next (big) step on my cat grooming adventure.

I have to thank all the wonderful purrents that have booked with me over the last 16 months.

I also want to thank my friends and family for their love and support.

And lastly, I have to thank my amazing Chris for believing in me and supporting my decisions. For being so patient and understanding while I've worked to build the business. I couldn't have done this without you!

I'm so excited for this next chapter!

Hello, friends! Happy Friday!

Meet Paddy, a handsome boy with a feisty spirit! His purrents got in touch with me as they could see his coat was starting to get knotted and matted, especially around his hind quarters.

During his first session, Paddy constantly tried to jump off the table and was not afraid to tell me what he was thinking with a few sneaky and not so sneaky swipes!

But I wasn't going to give up on him. Over the course of four sessions, I have managed to get 95% of his coat knot free, through gentle brushing and shaving where needed. Paddy has also become more tolerant and relaxed. Fast forward to his most recent session, where he sat for the whole hour on the table. He even let me clean his eyes and ears, much to amazement of his purrents.

It has been an absolute pleasure helping this gorgeous boy, and his coat is growing back beautifully.

Going forward, Paddy is going to have maintenance sessions to help prevent the knots from coming back.

Hello, friends!

I've not posted in a while, as I have been super busy with cat grooming sessions, and it's been hard to keep the social media side of things up to date.

But I've been helping lots of new fluffies and seeing my pawsome regulars. I'll post some more updates on these soon, I promise!

Over the weekend, I got to meet this handsome boy, Rodney.

Rodney has a very thick gorgeous coat but struggles to groom the top of his back, and as a result, it had become quite badly matted midway down, to the base of his tail.

Because his coat is so thick, it took a little bit of time to remove the problem area, especially as Rodney kept jumping off the table.

Rodney loves being outdoors, and so we moved the table to the backdoor, which gave him a great view of the garden and the birds, keeping his focus away from what I was doing!

His wonderful purrent was so pleased with the results, and from the happy look on Rodney's face, I think he was pleased too!

Over the weekend, I saw my beautiful regulars, Mito and Misty.

These adorable fluffies are 8 months old and still very much in kitten mode.

Both have very curly fur around their manes and bellies, which causes pesky knots to appear.

It was the first time I've used the clippers on them, and after getting Mito and Misty used to the noise, they let me remove the knots with no fuss.

As always, these two were extremely playful! Mito decided to scramble up my leg while I was combing Misty, Misty kept trying to chew the bag with the fur in, and they both loved playing with the laces on my shoes!

I have to say, I can think of worse ways to spend my weekends!

This is Merlin, a gorgeous long-haired fluffy who has an extremely thick coat.

Merlin loves being outside, which has caused some large matting on his belly.

The matting was quite tough to remove, but Merlin did absolutely amazing and was so tolerant throughout the long session.

He got a little bit restless towards the end of the session, but I ended with cleaning his ears and eyes, which calmed Merlin down so much he didn't want to get off the table!

It was great helping this beautiful boy out, and hopefully, he'll be feeling a lot better now all the matting has been removed.

Hello, friends!

It's been a busy weekend seeing some beautiful flufflies.

This handsome Ragdoll is Dermot.

His purrents were worried about some matting on his belly, and so they called me in for some help.

After assessing Dermot's coat, it actually wasn't as bad as I expected. There were just a few large knots that were easily clipped out. Dermots coat was in excellent condition, so he only needed a little brush out of the undercoat.

It was a pleasure meeting this beautiful blue-eyed boy!

Saw one of my favourite fluffies recently, the very adorable Fifi!

This characterful lady is very tolerant on the table but loves to try and escape when she gets the chance. She definitely keeps me on my toes!

Fifi's coat is quite prone to knotting, so there was a little bit of extra housekeeping required during this session.

I'm always amazed at how much undercoat gets brushed out, and Fifi's coat looks so good by the end of the session.

It's always such a pleasure to see this sweet little lady!

Happy Sunday, friends!

I thought I would catch you all up on some of the recent sessions I've had, and I wanted to start with the handsome little Coco!

You may remember Coco from an earlier post. He had some awkward matting through his coat, which was removed over a couple of sessions.

As you can see, Coco looked very content afterwards and is booked in for a maintenance groom to ensure he doesn't get in such a pickle again.

Hello, friends!

Recently, I had the pleasure of seeing one of my regular fluffies, MooMoo!

I wanted to share her grooming journey because it hasn't been easy.

MooMoo's wonderful purrent initially contacted me to try and remove some big knots. In the initial session, MooMoo was petrified of the table and wasn't keen on being held either. She got herself quite worked up and kept trying to get out through her cat flap, which had been locked for the session. It was clear she was not happy, and so we called it a day and let her outside so she could calm down.

MooMoo had never been groomed before, so I suggested that we could book in smaller sessions designed to build up her trust and tolerance.

Fast forward a few sessions later, and we've made massive progress.

MooMoo is still terrified of the grooming station, so we carry out the sessions on the kitchen table where she is more comfortable.

We also distract MooMoo with her favourite food, tuna...although, as you can see, she was not impressed when her sibling tried to eat it!

On the most recent session, we managed to groom MooMoo for a full hour, which is amazing.

Her coat was so shiny and glossy afterwards, and I am so proud of how far she has come!

Sunday afternoon, I met Arlo, a handsome and gentle Ragdoll who needed some matting on his chest removed. The matts were quite compact and took a bit of time to remove, but we got there in the end.

Arlo was so patient on the table, and his lovely purrents helped reassure him throughout the session.

At the end of the session, I cleaned Arlo's ears and eyes, which he seemed to enjoy. As you can see, he was super relaxed at the end, and he'll be feeling a lot more comfortable now that the pesky knots and matts are gone.

It was a very rewarding and happy end to a super busy week.

I'm so lucky meeting all these beautiful fluffies! This is Elvis, a gorgeous Maine C**n who is still only a kitten!

Elvis had his first Early Paws session today, and it was so fun. He was super inquisitive and loved being brushed.

It was great being able to help his lovely owner, who is new to being a cat purrent too.
