We're all on cloud nine in the paddock today after a brilliant weekend at the Yorkshire halter show. We are absolutely thrilled to come away with a champion (Old Felton Freedom) and a reserve champion (Old Felton Fascination), and are hugely proud of our paddock mate Rivenherd Georgia for winning the supreme championship. Huge congratulations to Jackie Watson and Joe Watson!

We have had an exciting start to June here at Acton Home Farm!

On Tuesday 1st June our very special Britannia gave birth to a super brown female, Old Felton Galaxy. She is the third Inca Legacy cria for us this year, and we are thrilled with the result. She is a real sweetie - chocolate coloured and very inquisitive.

On Friday (4th) Gemstone, a dazzling white female was born. Her parents are Fangdale Jessie and Gilt Edge Kudos of Beck Brow . She is an active young girl who will keep her mum on her toes.

Lastly, on Saturday (5th) our petite Demelza gave birth to Gordonstoun. His birth weight of 7.8kg was a bit of a surprise (an most likely, a big ouch for Demelza!). He is a gutsy boy and within 24 hours his weight had increased by 0.5kg. Well done mum!

Updated post: two photos added - both of Foxtrot, Gus’s son, at his new home!

Old Felton Augustus (known as Gus to his friends) is looking for a new home. His progeny have all had improved density over their mothers, and his cria are all look super cute. Reason for sale: he is now related to too many of our girls. (The third photo is one of his cria born in 2020.)

This weekend Penelope and Polly moved to live at Fenham Farm Coastal B&B with their friend Superstition. We will miss them, but know that they will be well loved. And, they have the most amazing view of Lindisfarne!
