Dougal's Doggy Digs is a smallholding with 8 acres of paddocks and woodland where your dog will be treated like one of o

ur own, lots of room to run and chase rabbits in the fields or cuddle up with friends in front of the wood burning stove on colder days. We have experience with all sorts of dogs and have a couple of rescued and rehomed dogs. Working from home there is someone here 24/7 dogs are never left. We have big and small dogs ourselves as well as chickens, ducks and horses. Based between Alsager and Crewe we are able to offer collection and drop off at agreed time. Owned/bred and rescued dogs for over 30yrs

All sizes of dogs welcome. We do ask that your dog gets on with other dogs and is fully upto date with vaccinations. Your dog will have fun and be free to run, play, sniff and explore. We have good access to super walks. Large secure paddocks for dogs to enjoy the outdoors for as long as they like. We require your little friend to be insured and you to leave and special diet requirements or if your happier to bring their own food. We have excellent relationship with local vets but your own vet contact details should also be available in case of emergency.

🐶🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Burns Day Haggis Hunt – This Saturday at Dougal’s! 🥳

Get ready for a paw-some adventure as we celebrate Burns Night with our very own Haggis Hunt at Dougal’s Doggy Digs! 🐾✨

📅 Date: Saturday, 25th January
⏰ Time: Arrive by 11:30 AM for a briefing before the hunt begins!
💷 Cost: £15 per dog (cash on the day)
🐕 Who Can Join? Members & friendly non-members welcome!

🔎 How the Haggis Hunt Works:

🐾 This is an on-lead adventure, where you and your dog will work together to track down the hidden haggises!
🌲 Exploring the woods and fields of Dougal’s, this activity is not only fun but also a great bonding experience, strengthening your teamwork and communication.
🎾 If your dog finds a haggis, they get to rip it open to claim their tasty rewards – a fantastic enrichment exercise that taps into their natural hunting instincts!

📢 Important Reminders:

✔ Dogs must remain on leads at all times.
✔ Respect each dog’s haggis – if another dog finds one, give them space to enjoy it!
✔ Wear suitable outdoor clothing – wellies & waterproofs are a must!
✔ Children must stay under control and not approach dogs without permission, especially when they are eating.
