Ruby's festive tale Pt2

When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from my bed to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash
Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash.

The moon on the crest of the new-fallen snow
Gave the lustre of mid-day to objects below
When, what to my wandering eyes should appear
But a sleigh full of Muttnuts, and 8 tiny reindeer!

A Muttnuts Tale

Twas the night before Muttnuts, when all through the house,
Not a creature was rested, not even a mouse.
The dogs were laid to bed with care
In hopes that their Muttnutts soon would be there.

The pups were nestled all snug in their beds
While visions of Muttnuts danced in their heads
And mamma in her basket and, and I in my cap
Had just settled our brains for a long winter’s nap.

We’ve been a little quiet over the past few months and we’ve not posted as much as we normally do. So, it is with a heavy heart that we tell you that we lost our wonderful dog Barney at the end of the summer. It has left a huge hole in our family and we needed time to process it and grieve for him. However, we now feel ready to move forward and we wanted to let you know why we’ve been so quiet. We still have our beautiful collie Patch and we also have a new addition to our family, who we look forward to introducing you to very soon.

As we all know bonfire night is just round the corner🔥! If your dog suffers from anxiety this can be a stressful night for them. We'd suggest putting a couple of Muttnuts in a toy to help distract them while reducing their anxiety. We know this works for Patch!

As the summer holidays end and life goes back to its usual routine it's going to be a big change for your dog's. Separation anxiety, especially in single dogs, can develop, Muttnuts are a great was of taking some of this stress and anxiety away, mainly through the use of h**p oil and valerian root, leaving you with a calmer and happier dog!!

We've been a bit quiet recently, but we're still here. Life just caught up with us a wee bit. Running Muttnuts comes alongside our full time jobs in education and hospitality, which have been a bit hectic of late. This is Tilly. We featured her a few weeks ago as a new member of the Muttnuts family Back then, Tilly's owners told us that she had become terrified of car journeys, shaking, panting and hiding on the floor of the car. Her owners have been back in touch to say that after a few weeks of daily Muttnuts her behaviour has started to change. Her anxiety has lessened and her fear has begun to fade. They sent us these fabulous photos of her in a car last week, much happier, less worried and not hiding in the footwell.

Muttnuts contain valerian root, h**p oil and camamile, all of which help dogs tackle anxiety and feel calmer.
