Miri is a truly special little girl brimming with personality. She enjoys following you around the house and is quite vocal when seeking attention. Currently, she shares her home with two dogs but shows little concern about their presence. Miri loves to snuggle up next to you while sleeping and adores a good cuddle. She has a hearty appetite, and her favorite toys are the prey wands and her catnip pouch. Miri would make a wonderful addition to any family.

⭐️See Blue’s before and after pictures below!⭐️

❤️Blue went to his forever home this weekend… We are very very proud of this boy and we want you all to know why!❤️

🐾Blue came to us very under weight, with a head tremor and very very scared. This beautiful boy was so underweight that he couldn’t walk and so scared that he had to be carried into the centre. He was too poorly to be put into a kennel, so he went straight into a foster home!🐾

🐶After just one week, he’d started to grow in confidence and became much more active. He came back to the centre where we worked SO hard to rehabilitate him🐶

🫶🏻First we taught Blue to trust us, which took a lot of time and patience! We then started to teach him how to walk and that the outside world was fun and not something to be scared of! As he gained weight he attended sessions with Taylored Pet Therapies to help build muscle…🫶🏻

🥰After several months he was becoming much more ‘springer’, as a springer spaniel should be! He is a very clever boy and picked up his life skills SO quickly. His HUGE personality began to show and we all fell in love with him (and his quirks). We soon realised this special boy came with a broken “off button”!🥰

💙Once he was ready he went up for rehoming… luckily his perfect match family found him quickly! The only skills Blue had left to learn was how to live in a home. And yesterday was the day that the rest of his life began💙

⭐️We want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone involved in Blues journey (to his fosterer and Taylored Pet Therapies). We are all SO SO proud of the progress he has made and we are excited to see what he gets up to in his new home. Blue is a prime example of the work we do here at RSPCA Lancashire East and we are all overjoyed that he has now found his forever!⭐️

We would like to say a massive thank you to Blue’s adopters for donating some delicious goodies for our pets in the centre. It was so thoughtful and we couldn’t be more grateful. (Don’t worry, the chocolates aren’t for the dogs 😂).

This weekend we said a bittersweet goodbye to our beautiful boy, Blue. He’s come so far from when he first arrived at our centre and we couldn’t be prouder of him at how much he’s achieved. It’s sad to see him go, but it’s amazing to see him go home!

We all wish him the best of luck in his new life with his forever family.

‼️Let your dogs SNIFF!‼️

🐾It’s so important to let your dogs sniff when out on their walks as it is their main way of investigating the world around them… it is also mentally stimulating meaning your pooch will be more tired from a sniffy walk than a longer walk!🐾

🐶We never pull our dogs away for enjoying a good sniff… Jadey really enjoyed her sniffing time in the woods this morning! She’s wanting to go on more sniffy adventures with a family who loves her!🐶

Florence has been with us for quite some time, yet she often goes unnoticed. Black cats are typically the hardest to rehome. She has her own personality and tends to prefer the company of women over men.
With her sleek, midnight fur and luminous green eyes, she moves through the house like a shadow, silent and graceful. Florence has a mysterious charm that captivates those who take the time to truly see her. She enjoys curling up in cozy corners, observing the world with a quiet wisdom that only a cat can possess.
Despite her initial shyness, once she decides to trust you, she becomes a loyal friend. Florence is known for her gentle purrs and the way she nuzzles affectionately against your hand, seeking attention and warmth. 💔Jadey is a lovely girl! She walks nicely on lead, has no issues seeing other dogs and is super playful… But for some reason she has had very little interest💔

🐶This lovely girl has had a difficult start and he’s now ready to find her forever. We know her perfect family is out there!🐶
