Would you like to gain the confidence and skills to ride safely on roads and in the countryside? BHS Manchester are very excited to offer the BHS Riding Out Safely training and optional award course at a greatly subsidised cost.

WHEN? 21 and 28 April and 3 May 2025
WHERE? Dairy House Farm Livery, Altrincham, WA14 5RE

We have just EIGHT places available on this three-day course which includes theory, practice ridden sessions then the optional assessment. An essential award for those wanting to achieve their BHS Stage 1 Complete Horsemanship, it’s useful for all riders. There are only eight places available, and the subsidised rate is £40 (normal cost £120). This includes the Ride Safe booklet and expert training, support and optional assessment. Please note you must have access to your own horse and be able to travel to the venue. Open to riders in Cheshire and Greater Manchester postcodes only. Get your tinsel out and your jingle bells on, it’s time for our Christmas dressage!

Entries are open NOW over on HorseMonkey. Of course, there will be mince pies and chocolatey goods and some little presents up for grabs.

One last time for 2024, let’s get those dancing shoes on and ping down that centre line for our lovely judge. The dates for 2025 are currently being finalised and will be available for you very soon!

It's Road Safety Week.

Here at the BHS, helping to improve road safety is a huge part of what we do. If you'd like to feel more confident riding out, then keep your eyes peeled!

We're offering 8 subsidised places on our Riding Out Safely training and assessment day, to be held at Dairy House Farm Livery in Altrincham.

What a day yesterday was! Well done to everyone who competed yesterday and won their league championships ❤️ I'll post the results and league tables later on in the week.
