Muzzle training is something you should consider even if your dog doesn’t need one. Should things change then the hard work is already done. Take it slow, make it fun and positive.

If you have a high energy anxious dog try a weighted pack, tires them out and gives them a job to do….double bubble. Combine this with a structured training walk and just watch the anxiety and energy ebb away.

If you’re training your dog and they are making mistakes constantly, instead of telling them off, try taking a step back and making it easier for them. When they consistently get it right, it’s time to move on to more advanced training. Alternatively, seek the help of a dog trainer.
