Some of you may know that I lost an argument with an icy path 3 weeks ago ☹️ I'm determined to get back to what I love as soon as possible 🐾🐾

I did a little walk with my dogs (& Laura) this morning. Thank goodness the eldest fur-kid knows how to pick a ball up on command and hand it to me or this could have gone very differently! 🤣

"Can't take him to the beach for a walk because he bothers you and messes with the holiday... I'm not allowed to rent a house if I have a dog, and I can't take him.
However, I can take him to the rubble to find you after an earthquake, in the woods after you get lost in the mountains and you didn't have neither map nor gps; under snow because you made a detour not allowed off track; in the water because, despite the red flag, you have entered the sea and your life is in danger! And finally ....
He's just a dog, but he will find you.
And he will save you!!" Dogs are family ❤❤

I'm sure lots of lucky people will receive the best gift ever tomorrow...... a puppy 🐾❤️
However, if you are that person giving the gift, please just take a minute to think about a few things:

🐾 Is this going the right home for the puppy? Research the breed and check it is the right fit. All puppies are cute .....but they all grow up to be adult dogs with very different needs.

🐾 Can this home commit to giving this dog a home for the rest of its life? That could be 15 years plus!

🐾 Does the person have the time to train and spend with the dog every day around life's other commitments? Rescue centres are already full of unwanted dogs.

🐾 Will they be able to make the house dog-friendly, especially over Christmas?

If you can answer yes to all these, then that puppy will be very lucky and have a happy and healthy life full of fun 😊🐾🐾🐾
