Our annual dog show is happening on Sunday the 6th July, it’s a key fundraiser for our sanctuary to allow us to keep helping dogs in need.

Can you give up a few hours of your time to do a shift. It’s fun, meeting so many people & dogs it won’t feel like work BUT you will be making a difference.

Shifts are:
7-10am (Set Up Crew)
8-1pm
1-5pm
8-5pm

Treats stocked up! Some favourites back in including beef tails, ox tails, lamb braids, goat twists, lamb trachea, plus bulk bags of hairy rabbit ears, chicken feet, duck feet, beef liver, beef tripe, pig strips, fish flatties and lamb horn marrow.

Banned breeds in our paddocks🐾

As you may know, it has now been one year since the heart-breaking ban was put into place for XL Bullies. Last week, we spoke to to understand more about the reasons (other than the obvious) that our customers who own banned breeds choose to use Paw Paddock. Here is what they said...

'Since the XL Bully ban came into force, Paw Paddock has been an absolute lifeline for us and our dogs. They’ve provided a safe space where Kenny can run and play freely. Knowing we have somewhere secure to let him off-lead and muzzle-free has been a huge weight off our shoulders. The fields have given us a place to breathe, to watch our dogs enjoy their freedom, and to feel a sense of normality again. With all the restrictions in place, it’s been overwhelming at times, but knowing there are secure fields where our dogs are still welcome has meant everything. Paw Paddock has truly been a sanctuary for us during a challenging time, and we’re incredibly grateful for the support they continue to offer.'

This Valentine's Day give your dog something special ... choice!

Don't take your dog for a walk, let them take you and see where you go.

Mr Moussaka once took me to a random vet practice when choosing the route on a street walk in a new area, he loves the vets as the scent of the vet = liver paste in his mind!

Mr O once chose the path in a large park, and he took us to a young lady who was unconscious and we called the emergency services.

We control every aspect of their lives, think about it for a moment, and then think how you would feel if you never got to choose what you ate and when, where you went, who you met, the list goes on. Dogs are the only animals on the planet that have to wait and ask to go to the toilet!

Choices promote emotional well-being and can make a huge difference to your best friend. ❤
