❗ URGENT APPEAL ❗

Buddy the cat would like to ask everyone for their help! 🐱

A few days before Christmas, our autoclave machine broke, leaving us with no way to perform vital operations to the animals in our care. 🩺

Buddy had a good go at trying to fix it, but it was beyond repair. ☹️

We rely on this machine to sterilise the surgical equipment that we use in important onsite operations including neutering and dentals. 🦷

With no way to clean this equipment we wont be able to perform these operations and will have to outsource - which will cost us a lot more money. This will also delay our animals being put up for homing and going to their forever homes. 🥺

We need to raise £3200 as soon as possible, so we can buy a new autoclave machine, which will allow us to continue performing these important procedures to our rescue animals. ❤️

If anyone is able to donate towards a new autoclave machine we would be most grateful 🥰

After a social weekend, Cam has taken himself upstairs and off to bed (my bed, he knows a quality mattress that spaniel 😄).

Just a reminder that the Christmas period can be a lot of stimulus for dogs ☃️

Don't forget to ensure they get a place to go where they can be cosy and sleep undisturbed 😴

This will help to regulate emotions and prevent overstimulation - which can look like hyperactivity.

Dogs who get good sleep are able to make better decisions, just like us ✨

🐶Puppy Parent (stage one): We are regularly looking for Puppy Parents who are home for the majority of the day and would love to provide a home to a young puppy. Full support is given and all costs covered.

🐶Puppy Parent (stage two): Or would you love to look after a dog but are out at work all day? You could have one of our young adult dogs for bed and breakfast and weekend fun! The dog would come to ‘School’ every day, returning to you in the evening and for the weekend.

🐶Holiday cover: We are always on the lookout for loving holiday cover for our dogs while their Puppy Parents take a break.

🚜🌳Urgent Rural Homing Appeal🌳🚜

We’re urgently looking for some rural homes for some of our current feline residents.

A stable yard, small holding, farm, land with outbuildings or a house on site, a garden centre, or a workshop would be perfect with a warm and cosy shelter for them to call home🏡

Unfortunately it’s taking a little longer to find these cats new homes but we’re hoping that very soon they will be enjoying plenty of freedom exploring and doing everything cat🐀

All of our cats are fully vet checked, vaccinated and they will come with everything they need to begin their new life with you.

I am looking forward to our 4th year of The Secret Dog Garden, and although the cost of living keeps going up I would like to reassure everyone that our prices will remain the same.

£20 for a 45 minute session might sound a lot to some, but it is a personalised 1-2-1 experience for each individual visitor, which takes at least 45 minutes to set up, plus I provide high quality and varied treats for your dog to find!

Remember, dog's in rescues/foster care, and for those sadly reaching end of life, visit for free.

The Secret Dog Garden is my passion to share with as many as possible.
