Just on another site and someone asking about a filly being shown at Haydock Park which was one of mine, Salana. Here she is playing at home back in the day with field friends Alysia and RB Fahleena.
Both Salana and Alysia produced National and International Champions. Alysia also won the Paris International. The chestnut mare Fahleena was an American import but was taken in a freak accident whilst in race training. A bizarrely fast mare over a short distance. She died in 1994 and it was nearly enough for me to call it a day. Devastating 😞

I’ve just been quoted £70 for a large bale of straw….i paid £20 before Christmas !

Due to the extreme wet conditions our horses are going to be later going out so we needed to buy in more hay and straw i was shocked by the price which is almost double to what we pay normally and apparently it will stay at this price for this year as farmers can't get out to plant in these wet conditions... we are up against it not easy ...
