Hello 😃 it’s been a while since I have been on my page.
I just wanted to give you all a little update so you know my plans for starting back up after maternity leave! I missing grooming all my doggies I hope they’re all happy & healthy 🐶

Little Nellie is doing well! She’s growing so fast. I love being a mum and watching her grow & as you can appreciate I want to make the most of my time off with her while I can and I also want to put 110% into my work so I have decided to return in April 2024 & I will open my books to take on bookings in January 2024..

Today was officially my last working day & at 36 weeks pregnant I’m definitely ready to put my feet up & make the most of my time off on maternity with my bambino.

These past few years running fi’s perfect paws haven’t always been easy, there’s been a lot of blood sweat & tears along the way 😆 but definitely one of the best decisions I’ve ever made!

I’d like to thanks my amazing customers who have stayed loyal throughout & for being so understanding especially through my pregnancy having to change groom dates so I can make hospital appointments ect. I can honestly say I adore my job & will miss all my lovely doggies that I groom but I will be back at work early next year!! As soon as my little girl has arrived I will update a post with a date of re-opening & open my diary again for taking on bookings.

Hiya just a reminder to my regular customers please message me to book your pooches in for their next 2 grooms to avoid disappointment as I’m getting very busy from now until my annual leave & I cant work much over time to squeeze dogs in on the weeks you maybe wanting.
Im 28 weeks pregnant now so work life is starting to take a little bit of a strain on my body although I’m still happy & healthy & able to keep grooming 💪🏻😃

I thought I’d share a little video to help you guys with the curly or long coated dogs on how to correctly brush them in between grooms to avoid matts! These can very easily be missed or hidden underneath their coat so they may look ok to the naked eye but matts can form close to the skin.
It’s important to brush every day or every other day right from being groomed as I think a lot of people think they will be fine for weeks because they have been groomed. Wrong matts can form within a few days especially in areas around collar & where their harness sits. It’s true matts are one of groomers worst nightmares as it’s very harsh on our blades/scissors which are expensive to replace & it’s very uncomfortable for your pets when we have to shave close to skin & also will avoid extra de-matting charges!
If you are unsure of how often to bring in your dogs to be groomed depending on their coat type or any other questions please message me 😊
