This handsome chap came to see me for the first time yesterday and he was an utter delight ❤️.

His parents have recently rescued him and he was in need of a good hair cut to remove some knots around his head.

I’ve no doubt he’ll be looked after and they’ve already booked him back in in 5 weeks to keep on top of his luscious locks 🐶🛁.

This little sweetie visited me for the first time ealier this week. She came with her brother who ran up the drive but she was a little more nervous. This didn’t last for long and by the end of the groom she was showering me in kisses ❤️.

She had a few knots around her muzzle which I thinned out and blended to balance out.

Most excitingly, her owners had a baby over a weekend so she went home to show off her new haircut and meet her little brother 🥰.

So lovely to see this handsome boy last week as I’ve not seen his since my return from maternity!

His mums been doing an amazing job of home haircuts whilst I’ve been off but him and his sister decided to be a bit troublesome around their feet.

He had quite a few knots in his beard so I treated him to a facial which provides a deep clean then I used some leave in conditioner to help me thin out any knots whilst protecting the hair 🐶🛁.

I had the utter pleasure of meeting this handsome boy earlier today.

He was amazing at being dried and so, so brave with a few cuddles thrown in. He was a little unsure of the scissors around his face (most pups are) so I’ve given his mum some tips and I’ll be seeing him again in a month 🥰.

I love getting puppies from such an early age as it helps set a strong foundation for their grooming journey 🐶🛁.

So lovely to see this handsome boy earlier this week ❤️.

Sadly, he isn’t the biggest fan of being groomed and is a bit of fidget as a result. Since returning from maternity he’s become very wriggly when working around his front legs (he’s always been a wriggler for being dried).

He is however the sweetest boy going who provides lots of cuddles and with plenty of reassurance and patience we do get there in the end. Despite the wriggles he’s still one of my favourites ❤️🐶.

What an amazing week when I get a second gorgeous pup in! This handsome boy came yesterday and was sooo good.

He was amazing at being dried (I’ve a video to upload shortly showing this) so I took a bit of length off his fur as he allowed me to get ahead of schedule.

His mum and I knew his groom wouldn’t be perfect as puppy grooms can take a few sessions as they adjust to life on the table. I very much take a less is more approach with handling so they can become comfortable on the table and it really does work ❤️🐶.

She was as equally cute as she was hairy! Mum said she’s not the biggest fan of being dried but the happy hoodie really helped muffle the sounds of the blaster 🛁🐶.

Apologies to everyone who has been over the past couple of weeks as I’m rather behind on my social media!

This very handsome chap came for the first time the other week and was an utter delight 🥰.

His owners like him longer as he’s a few bald patches on his side so he was hand scissored all over to tidy him up and pop a bit of shape back into his coat.

She wasn’t the biggest fan of the clippers on her front legs so the scissors came out to take some length off but keep her happy.

Who else plays find it with their dogs?! Monster pup adores this game… but she is quite the cheat and has been known to try and sneak in whilst I hide her toy around the room so the door has to be firmly closed to prevent any peeking 🙈 #germanshorthairedpointer #gsp

For anyone wondering how the mud bath treatment helps de shedding have a look at all of the hair that came of my monster pup after using it. She also now feels softer than she has ever felt, my husband says she feels like a baby seal 😂 #peanutandpickle

When nothing stops you from nap time 💤😍. I’ve been grooming this handsome boy since he was a pup and he’s always loved a snooze during his groom. I think it is a big indicator of just how relaxed he is ❤️.

Who else plays hide and seek with their pooch? We use a variety of treats and toys… the only problem is she is so good at remembering my usual hiding places 🙈 #hideandseek #germanshorthairedpointer

Beach days with this one are always the best 🥰

Grooming can be a little daunting to pups when they come for the first time so I always allow time for them to meet the equipment before it is used on them. Turning the hairdryer on low and facing it away from them to begin starts to desensitise them to the noises that can be a little scary to begin ❤️ #bravepuppy

There is never a Sunday night dread as I adore my job, but my pooch is going to miss the lazy Christmas routine 🥰 #bankholidaymonday
