Transformation Thursday for this gorgeous gal ✂️!

She hasn’t been groomed in a little while due to her previous groomer retiring but besides not being the biggest fan of the dryer was a little angel ❤️.

Her owners like her in a traditional cut but not too long so it’s manageable to keep on top of 🐶🛁.

So lovely to see this handsome boy earlier this week ❤️.

His owners are going on holiday soon so we decided to take his furnishings (hair on the chest, skirt and legs) shorter as he’ll be going in kennels and it won’t be guaranteed if he’ll be brushed 🐶🛁.

This utter sweetie came to see me for the first time today ❤️.

She’s blind so her mum was quite nervous about leaving her but I told her of my experience with other blind dogs and the set up in the salon so she felt quite reassured.

I talked to her throughout, kept my hands on her at all times and gently stroked her with the equipment first before using it (especially around her face) 🐶🛁.

My in laws are getting rid of this large dog bed. It has a crack on the bottom but covered with blankets/bedding. Thought I’d share in case it’s of use to anyone or if you know of any animal charities that would be in need?

This gorgeous gal has recently become a teenager and has decided to be a bit more of a rebel during her grooms 😂.

She no longer likes being dried and has become a major fidget for pretty much everything.

Luckily, her mum brings her often which allows me to help her work through this rebellious phase! Plus she’s super cute so can get away with everything ❤️.

This handsome chap came to see me for the first time yesterday and he was an utter delight ❤️.

His parents have recently rescued him and he was in need of a good hair cut to remove some knots around his head.

I’ve no doubt he’ll be looked after and they’ve already booked him back in in 5 weeks to keep on top of his luscious locks 🐶🛁.

This little sweetie visited me for the first time ealier this week. She came with her brother who ran up the drive but she was a little more nervous. This didn’t last for long and by the end of the groom she was showering me in kisses ❤️.

She had a few knots around her muzzle which I thinned out and blended to balance out.

Most excitingly, her owners had a baby over a weekend so she went home to show off her new haircut and meet her little brother 🥰.

So lovely to see this handsome boy last week as I’ve not seen his since my return from maternity!

His mums been doing an amazing job of home haircuts whilst I’ve been off but him and his sister decided to be a bit troublesome around their feet.

He had quite a few knots in his beard so I treated him to a facial which provides a deep clean then I used some leave in conditioner to help me thin out any knots whilst protecting the hair 🐶🛁.

❤️ New pupper alert ❤️

I had the utter pleasure of meeting this handsome boy earlier today.

He was amazing at being dried and so, so brave with a few cuddles thrown in. He was a little unsure of the scissors around his face (most pups are) so I’ve given his mum some tips and I’ll be seeing him again in a month 🥰.

I love getting puppies from such an early age as it helps set a strong foundation for their grooming journey 🐶🛁.

It was his first time with me yesterday and he was an utter gent! He reminded me a little of the cowardly lion from The Wizard of Oz when the dryer was out but he was otherwise very brave and cuddly throughout.

So lovely to see this handsome boy earlier this week ❤️.

Sadly, he isn’t the biggest fan of being groomed and is a bit of fidget as a result. Since returning from maternity he’s become very wriggly when working around his front legs (he’s always been a wriggler for being dried).

He is however the sweetest boy going who provides lots of cuddles and with plenty of reassurance and patience we do get there in the end. Despite the wriggles he’s still one of my favourites ❤️🐶.

❤️ new pupper alert ❤️

What an amazing week when I get a second gorgeous pup in! This handsome boy came yesterday and was sooo good.

He was amazing at being dried (I’ve a video to upload shortly showing this) so I took a bit of length off his fur as he allowed me to get ahead of schedule.

His mum and I knew his groom wouldn’t be perfect as puppy grooms can take a few sessions as they adjust to life on the table. I very much take a less is more approach with handling so they can become comfortable on the table and it really does work ❤️🐶.

I fell in love with this gorgeous gal who came to visit me for the first time yesterday ❤️.

She was as equally cute as she was hairy! Mum said she’s not the biggest fan of being dried but the happy hoodie really helped muffle the sounds of the blaster 🛁🐶.

Just look at this gorgeous little pup I had the pleasure of meeting earlier today 🥰.

Her mum is a dog walker so we decided a short but fluffy length was the best option as this gorgeous gal gets to go on the best walks but loves to get muddy!
