We have had the busiest couple of months nursing Norman back to full health, plus hooman exams and job changes and the general chaos that comes with keeping all the canines and children alive and fulfilling all your orders. Very excited to share some new products this week, we have the team on standby to tuck in and review them before we get them on the website! Spoiler alert we will not be stocking Haagen Daas, despite Norman’s requests.

It has been the worst week and a half, but our boy is finally home. It’s looking like he has sustained some permanent damage to his kidneys, but we are hoping with a special diet he will be just fine. Follow up blood tests in 5 days to see how he is doing. He is snuggled up on the sofa, catching up on all the loves.

As some of you know Norman is currently in hospital with acute kidney failure. We are so lucky to have caught it fast, and it looks like he will make a full recovery. We don’t know what he has eaten to cause it, but hopefully this little reminder might help someone this Easter! Both chocolate and raisins are toxic to dogs, if your dog eats either please contact your vet. Of course we don’t want our furry friends to miss out on treats at Easter, we have lots of Easter themed goodies on our website, from lamb to duck we have you covered. Norman has some exciting news.. he will be taking a couple of weeks paternity leave to help Frank with the twins. Mum and babies are doing well, Norman isn’t sure why his babies don’t have spots. Let’s hope he doesn’t ask for a paternity test! We won’t be at the market again tomorrow as it’s still closed due to site conditions. Norman’s spent the morning cracking on with his to do list:
✅ Jump over the d**e
✅ Fall in the d**e on the way back over
✅ Chase a leaf
✅ P*e on the leaf
✅ Sit at the door wining while ma tries to work
He is having his performance review Friday, at this rate he will not getting his pay rise.
We didn’t make it to the market yesterday as it was cancelled, if you would like a local delivery pop us a pm, usual delivery days are Tuesday and Saturday. I’ll send Norman out, keep him out of trouble for an hour 🐾

Guys I hope you had the woofiest Christmas and New Year! Ma is currently spending all day playing on her laptop. I don’t understand it. I sits here jabbing her with my paw, but she says ‘Stops it Norman, I’ve got works to do.’ I don’t see her doing any work. She certainly isn’t busy throwing my ball. She says I’ve got to pack orders, and stop testing the produce. Apparently I’ve had too many treats lately.

I got to visit Norman today at the hospital, very emotional, but so happy to say that he is feeling so much better. We had treats, cuddles and SO MANY kisses 💋 he will have another blood test in the morning, assuming that comes back ok we can make a plan to remove his drip and get him home! Its looking like a bacterial infection is the cause, I am so grateful to our vet for sending us to the doggy hospital, as he likely wouldn’t have survived if he hadn’t started treatment right away. Thanks for all your lovely messages asking after him, he can’t wait to get back to collecting his belly rubz! #dogsofinstagram

What’s your go to for enrichment? We love hollow bones and licky mats! Our dogs are swines for destructive behaviour when they are bored so I always try and ensure we have lots of enrichment treats for them when they don’t have my full attention.
