Today is Hairy Poppins 1st birthday 🥳 🎈🎊

I can't quiet believe that it's been a year already 😱

Just want to say a massive THANK YOU to all my wonderful customers and your crazy critters 😊

It's not just our domestic pets that struggle in this hot weather 🥵 spare a thought for our friends in the wild. This time of year streams and puddles that they normally would use may have dried up. So pop a shallow bowl in a shady part of your garden or outside your house and help a furry friend in need 🐿🦔🦉🐝🐀🐰🦌🦊

𝙈𝙔 𝙏𝙊𝙋 𝙏𝙄𝙋𝙎 𝙁𝙊𝙍 𝙆𝙀𝙀𝙋𝙄𝙉𝙂 𝙔𝙊𝙐𝙍 𝙋𝙀𝙏𝙎 𝘾𝙊𝙊𝙇 𝙄𝙉 𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝙃𝙀𝘼𝙏........ 🥵

●Always walk dogs early in the morning or late in the evening

●Cool mats these are perfect for any animal as they can be place on floor, in bed or cage etc

●Ice cubes or frozen treats yogurt or fruit are good ones to freeze

●Remember to keep Rabbit/Guinea pig hutches out of direct sunlight and provide them with shade

●Indoor pets make sure the room they are in is not to warm and they are also not in direct sunlight

●Paddling pools / Sprinklers are great for cooling off (great for the owners to 😂)

The list could go on but lastly if you suspect your pet has heat stroke. Follow these simple steps below. ALWAYS use cool NOT freezing water. Always seek veterinary advice if your not sure.

Fireworks can be stressful & confusing for your pets. Statistically more pets are reported missing on bonfire night than any other night. Here are some top tips to help keep them safe, secure & settled

🅕eeding early will help them settle
🅘mportant microchips/tags are updated
🅡educe outside noise turn up tv or radio
🅔ver used a thunder shirt helps with stress
🅦alk your dog before it gets dark
🅞ther things such as adaptil/feliway plugins
🅡eiki great for reducing stress/anxiety
🅚ittens & puppies are sensitive to loud noises
🅢afe place for your pets a den/cosy bed
