Grendon dog field

Good Morning,

I hope everyone is enjoying the sunny weather and enjoying the field now it is drying up! ☀️

I have noticed that there have been occasions where people are booking a 1-3 dog session and are taking in more dogs. Therefore going forward we are going to be doing regular but random checks with both fields to ensure that people are booking the correct amount of dogs for their time.

It is a shame it has come to this but unfortunately it is becoming more regular.

Additionally, all dog walking businesses will have to book via the ‘dog walking’ booking if they wish to continue to use the field.

Hi All,

The ground is becoming wetter and muddier so can I please ask that everyone pulls into the field and stays on the hardcore and then at the end please reverse out.

Last year we had to pull multiple people out which we can’t guarantee to be around for and it ruined the field.

🚨🚨🚨IMPORTANT🚨🚨🚨

We have put up some new signs in the dog field to try and remind people that leaving your dogs mess in the field is not acceptable.

We go down and pick what is left every other day as we understand that sometimes there might be an odd one missed however please ensure you watch your dogs and pick up their mess. There is no excuse.

It is not for other dog field users to pick up. If we get reports from people that there is fresh mess in the field in their session from the one before we will have to ask you to not return to the field.

The fields have been mown again today so there are no excuses! We have also put bags around the fields so if you do forget your own there are some provided, along with bins to dispose of it.

Please help us keep the fields tidy and clean.

Please can all dog field users be aware that cigarette butts are TOXIC to dogs.

This is a communal field with dogs of all sorts of sizes, breeds and ages and all with different personalities. Even if your dog pays them no attention to your cigarette butts others might love a sniff and a nibble! 🐶❌

We don’t want any cigarette butts left on the floor due to the risk of dogs consuming them.

Please help us keep the field clean and safe for all users.

OPEN EVERY NIGHT UNTIL 9PM

To let you all know, both dog fields will now be open until 9pm every night so that you are able to enjoy these lighter, warmer nights!!!

We are also hoping to mow the grass as soon as possible. We are waiting until the ground is hard enough so we don’t ruin the fields.
