THIS IS URGENT - FOSTER HOME NEEDED IN THE UK SO AMIGO DOESNT GO TO KENNELS NEXT WEEK
WE WILL TRANSPORT HIM ANYWHERE
Amigo hasn’t done anything wrong, it’s simply a change in family circumstances. Amigo is 10 months old. We believe him to be a Heinz 57 of breeds such as Caucasian shepherd (livestock herd guardian)/GSD/hunting hound. He is approximately 45kg currently and at 10 months he has plenty more growing to go! He ADORES cuddles on the sofa - he loves to wrap his legs around you and likes you do the same back. He’s very much still in his puppy phase; so mouthing/chewing and jumping up are still a work in progress. However he is VERY food oriented and knows the basic commands “Sit/Come/Wait/Leave it”. He is fully house trained, lives with 3 other large dogs happily and is used to children. We would recommend children over 12 years old. Amigo could be an only dog, he creates strong bonds and is particularly bonded to his foster mum in particular. However, he is used to living with other dogs and loves to play and cuddle up with his fellow canine house mates, so it would be nice if he had another large type doggy play mate in his life 💕 Amigo is a big, strong dog, and although he is learning to heel on the lead, he can get excited and pull, he can also be a little wary and vocal around new/unknown dogs approaching - so an experienced and strong owner would be best in order to work with him on this. Due to his breed mix, Amigo is a vocal boy - Amigo is a guardian dog, and as expected, he will bark to let you know when the postman or visitors come to the household! ❤️ For this reason (and his breed type) we would ideally like a semi rural home with a large garden so he can happily express his natural doggy instincts - and he LOVES to run around countryside fields! Although Amigo does live with 2 cats in his foster home, he can get excited and chase them, so a no cat/small furry home is probably sensible 🏡
