Ruff Luck Rescue has been around for a few years now but was recently taken over by a new team in July 2013.

Ruff Luck Rescue is a small non-profit dog rescue based in Atherstone CV10 It is run by Zara & Warren with great help from our private boarding kennels run by Sheena & trusted volunteers Please contact: [email protected] for any information. We are a small rescue based in Atherstone taking in unwanted dogs either relinquishment's from the home or from the pound. We are all volunteers and re

ly on our lovely supporters to assist us with walking the dogs and fostering them for us. Our Adoption fee is £200 to £225- all dogs come fully vaccinated, chipped, neutered, flee'd and wormed. If you are wanting us to re-home your dog,we would be grateful for a donation towards looking after him,especially if he needs vaccinations etc. This helps us cover initial kennel bills and food whilst the dog is in our care, in no way do we make a profit from this. We of course take into consideration everyones individual circumstances, and why the dog has been relinquished. Our contact details are as follows:

Sad news this morning yesterday gorgeous Pablo passed over to rainbow bridge , he spent 9 years with his mum who treated him like the prince he was I know she will be heartbroken as will Freda his little doggy sister
Your memories will live on Pablo always made us smile when you were here in rescue with us & when you came for your holidays
Thinking of his family at this sad time 🐾🐾❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Bobbi has gone on a home trial all went well with his meet today so fingers crossed his home trial continues to be positive if so he will have a lovely life & a new brother & sister to play with daily 🐾🐾❤️

UPDATE : who remembers Nacho aka stepper , look how cute he is , I see him fairly often around town & he’s a real celebrity now everyone knows him & he often goes on tour with his dad to gigs & festivals 🐾🐾❤️❤️

INFO : Here at ruff luck rescue we try to find homes for our dogs as local as possible as we like to keep tabs on the welfare & safety of our dogs through their life as much as possible without their new families thinking we’re stalkers lol
Sometimes when we share the dogs on here people outside the group will share our dogs to breed rescues without asking our permission & obviously they reach people far & wide and whilst we’re not ungrateful it can at times cause a little stress & conflict as people apply & then when I explain that our preferred homes if good enough are local I get a huge barrage of abuse or sarcastic emails/messages etc which don’t get me wrong I can deal with I’ve developed thick skin in the world of rescue 😂
This is merely an explanation of how we prefer to work not a post for conflict & just because you are a distance away we dont feel your bad homes or not worthy of a dog we just try to keep it as local as we can

Bobbi is now £200 lighter in his pocket money account & 2 little dangly bits lighter after his castration yesterday but up & well & eating this morning like nothings happened apart from looking annoyed at his cone of shame 😂😂😂❤️
He has visitors on Monday once he’s had few recovery days so I will update you all after that’s taken place 🐾🐾🐾❤️

Age : 2 years
Vaccinated: booked at vets next week to start his course
Microchipped : yes
Neutered : booked at vets next week to be done
Flea/wormed : yes
Other dogs : would need careful introduction as can be a bit barky & timid to begin with so a lot of time & patience needed if your considering him
Cats : needs a cat free home
Children : children 16 & over as he’s a little timid

Meet Bobbi who has come to us due to his previous owner becoming ill & no longer can care for him
He’s a little shy bit till he gets to know you but then full of beans & happy to have lots of attention, so he will need a home who can spend time allowing him to adjust to his new life so patience is a must
He needs a cat free home as he’s pretty obsessed by our cats here at kennels
If we are to consider a multi dog home it needs to be a careful introduction as he’s a little barky & unsure to begin with so again time & patience required to allow a good amount of time to settle & adjust
We won’t consider homes with young kids they must be 16 years plus as he’s not confident enough to tolerate young kids yet
He loves walks & requires plenty of regular exercise in a new home
He’s loves his food a real piggy so at the moment we’re using a slow feeder so he digests it more slowly, we are slowly building his weight up as he’s was a skinny Minnie when he arrived with us
Applicants must have a very secure garden , must have ability & time to exercise him & mostly must have time to allow him to settle down & adjust in a new home
Preference will go to local homes as we like to keep tabs on our dogs

Kali - X-breed being rehomed by Aldridge Voluntary Animal Rescue

What a lovely sweet nature girl is Kali. She is a 2 yr old spey girl originally from Creta. Found has a puppy by the family home, the owners decided to give her a home and bring her back to UK where she has be happily living with a male doberman and two small children. Sadly the doberman and Kali are not getting on and they have had a couple of fights where Kali got injured (she's ok). With small children in home they decide that need to move one of the dogs so Kali has gone temporarily to live with in-laws. The doberman I understand can be a little OTT and think probably he just gets on her nerves. When I met Kali she was very happy for me to enter the home. A very confident and sweet girl who is very affectionate. On her lead she will pull a little but very manageable but after a little off lead run she is easy. Her recall is good. Kali needs a home we feel has an only dog. if interested in Kali then drop email to [email protected] giving information on lifestyle etc
