Situated in the idyllic rural village of Shropham, Norfolk, Oak Cottage is your dog’s perfect holiday home - the ideal retreat for your dog to spend a peaceful and relaxing vacation, coupled with fun, interesting walks and exercise in the beautiful Norfolk countryside.

As an alternative to kennels, our exclusive service provides your pet the opportunity to live as part of our family during their stay, creating the perfect home from home environment including large amounts of company and attention. We only home board 2 dogs at a time, with the occasional third dog having an overnight stay, ensuring your dog receives the maximum in care at all times. We offer a bespoke experience, designed with you to suit your pet’s individual needs, to include playtimes in our large, secure, enclosed garden and walks twice a day through the footpaths and country lanes which abound in Breckland.

Sleeping quarters include extra large raised beds in temperature controlled rooms with underfloor heating . You are welcome to visit and inspect our home at any time before you decide to board your dog with us and we always advise an overnight stay for your pet to familiarise themselves with us before booking for a long term stay.
As we only board well behaved dogs, providing an exclusive service to the highest of standards in our home, where your pet becomes part of our extended family during their stay, we expect that this is reciprocated and understood by our patrons that wish to use our service. Please note we do not board giant dogs or dogs under the age of twelve months.
Fully licensed and insured we can also assist with you with a pick up and return service if required.
