First show of the season at the East of Scotland Highland Cattle Club! So nice to see our Highland friends again and some quality cattle. We had two young Handlers today! Miss Chloe McEwan on her second only showing and our cherub miss Ava Reid! Hannah Singer showed our cow Rowenna and Chloe showed her calf. Pleased to see a show again and very proud of Amy Reid for putting together a great show and Hannah for showing Rowenna, and of course Chloe and Ava who were both Stars! Thanks for the photos that I pinched too!

Cattle sold to Ireland
Amy & Steven sold their pregnant cow Callie on to a wonderful home in Ireland. She had twins and as you can see from the video them and the heifer Maisie we sold them are doing very well and being very, very well cared for.
First day out!
First day out of the maternity ward. Lol, Mum has her work cut out!
We are Highland Cattle Breeders focusing on raising and breeding good quality Highlanders.
We specialize in Black Highlanders but of course no fold would be complete with out the other colors for both their bloodlines as well as variation.
We are a relatively new fold having just started our Highland family in September 2008, but have quickly learned to love and appreciate this old breed, with it's majestic look and lovely dispositions.
We are open to farm visits with notice. If you have any comments or questions, please feel free to contact us.
John and Jenne Singer
"In my grandfather's day no colour was considered right for highland cattle but black. The great thing then was to have a fold of black cows. No one would look at the reds and yellows and cream and duns, which are all the rage nowadays. Though the blacks have since become unpopular, I have been told by the very best of old judges of Highland cattle that there is nothing to beat the blacks for hardiness, and that new strains of fancy coloured cattle are much softer and have not the same constitution."
