Did you know that if you have a pacemaker, you can include it in your Will to be donated to a dog in need after you pass away? Although pacemakers cannot be used for another human, they can help dogs with heart problems and potentially save their lives. You can arrange for the pacemaker to be sent to a vet of your choice. Many pacemakers are simply thrown away, and dogs may die because people do not know about this option. Donating the pacemaker can even save the dog's owner the cost of a new one, which can sometimes make a crucial difference in affording life-saving treatment.

“I walked around your garden, there was a lot of food scattered around for the birds, a lot more than they could eat. I was really hungry and thought maybe I'd eat something. " I came back the next day and again the next day; you kept putting so much food out for me.
Then you notice me
"What a disgusting, filthy mouse!" ” I heard you say. Then I saw another man coming with black boxes.
I heard you say I carry many dangers if you don't kill me I carry many diseases.
Truth is I would never hurt you.
Think about it: how many people do you know who got sick from me?
I took food out of these boxes but it was poisonous. I didn't know and ate it.
Feeling really sick right now stomach hurts The pain is getting worse, it's unbearable, and I feel like dying.

Who's looking after my puppies now? They are still young, they will slowly starve, cry, and wonder where their mom and dad are. After several days of immense agony, I died.

I heard you say someone poisoned the cat and how cruel that was. But u poisoned me too Is my life less important just because I'm smaller and different?
I'm nobody's pet, but I also feel pain, I also suffer, I also fear... So why do you think poison is right for me?

You know your actions don't only concern me, Mr. Owl caught my little brother poisoned him, and fed him to his little ones.
Now everyone is slowly dying because of you. Do they also deserve to die?
The man in the black boxes says I must die but he makes money killing my kind. How honest can it be in your opinion?
Think about it now what will happen?
I'm gone, y'all keep putting food out, my friends come over and it all starts again. What has changed?

"Smaller animals" you define us without realizing we are creatures just like you. We respect you and we don't hurt you, why do you hate us so much?”

🌱 Five top tips for helping hogs this 🌱

Here are five ways you can help hedgehogs yourself this spring – and perhaps encourage one to start visiting your garden!

🍽️ Many hedgehogs will have burned through their fat reserves during hibernation so “fast food” is a priority! By leaving dried cat food outside each night you can supplement their natural diet and help them to catch up.

💧 Hedgehogs also need access to fresh clean water, so leave a shallow dish out each night.

🌾 One of the easiest ways to make your garden more attractive to any wildlife is to let a section or a corner of the garden grow wild – think long grasses and pretty wildflowers.

🧗 If you have a garden pond, put in a short ramp – a length of wood will work fine – to give any hedgehogs than tumble in a swift and easy exit point.

🚇 Speak to your neighbours and create a hedgehog highway under a fence or wall so that hedgehogs can pass easily between gardens and gain extra land to roam on.
