All of my classes run over a 6 week block, with one class each week. All of my classes are £160 for the 6 week block (that's roughly £26.66 per class), there's no age limit and they are either held in an indoor village hall in Hazlemere or a secure outdoor field in Bledlow Ridge 🐶

Collars & harnesses... What you need to know:

By law your dog must wear a collar with an id tag when in public. The tag must include the following:
🐾 House number or name & postcode
🐾 Contact details for owner & owners name

Owners can be fined up to £2,000 if they break the Control of Dogs Order 1992 law.

It is also important to make sure that your dog's collar and harness fit properly. If their harness or collar isn't fitted properly your dog could escape from these pieces of equipment for example if they get spooked.

How do you know if their collar or harness fit properly?

🐶 It's snug but not too tight and allows your dog to move comfortably.
🐶 You should ideally be able to fit no more than 2 fingers underneath the collar or harness, anymore and the equipment is too loose.
🐶 The belly strap shouldn't be under your dog's armpits it should sit further back to allow comfortable movement of their front legs.
🐶 The front chest piece should sit comfortably against your dog's chest and should not be moving from side to side when your dog is walking.

My recommendations:
🐾 Harnesses should be y-shaped as these prevent any restrictions to the shoulders and allow full range of movement- my go to y-shaped harness is the Truelove Premium no pull harness as it can be adjusted around the neck and belly to make sure it fits properly & it comes in a variety of colours.
🐾 Id tags- I personally prefer & recommend Flexitags as they slide on to the collar rather than hanging from the collar ring

This class has no age limit, it's perfect for adolescent dogs whose training as a puppy has now gone out the window or great for dogs who need to work more around distractions 🐶

If you are looking for puppy or dog training then look no further, Paige's Pawfect Dog Training's February and April classes are now available to book on my website!

Classes will be returning to Chiltern Hills Farm Dog Field in April when the weather is hopefully warmer and I also have 2 lovely indoor venues in Hazlemere for classes as well. 🐾

Rolo is looking for his forever home 🏡 I've been working with Rolo for the last 2 months and he really is a very sweet boy 💜 Rolo: Chihuahua mix 4 years old approx I can live with: Dogs: No Cats: No Children: No, adult only home Home alone: 1-4 hours Min fence height: 5ft Min amount of visits: Min 4 visits Little Rolo is not a new face here at the rescue, he was rehomed in January 2022 but sadly due to his owner's ill health, he had to be returned. Rolo does have some behavioural issues which will need addressing by his new owners. This sparky little character is looking for owners who have experience & a good understanding of what resource guarding is and are dedicated to working with him, ideally alongside a reward based dog trainer or behaviourist. Rolo is a loving & affectionate boy when in the company of someone he trusts, however due to how his behaviour can be, he will need owners who are able to put some boundaries in as well as management in place to keep both yourself and Rolo safe. He has met a few dogs whilst being at the rescue with slow introductions. He prefers the company of small calmer dogs who will ignore him. With larger or excitable dogs Rolo will tend to react to them. Rolo will benefit from some further 1-2-1 training sessions with a reward based dog trainer or behaviourist who can help him become more neutral around dogs. Rolo loves to learn and is highly motivated by treats. He loves being out in the fresh air, running around, he will enjoy someone with an active lifestyle who is able to take him on plenty of walks and adventures. Rolo is able to live in a village, town or rural location as long as he has the right owners who will take his needs into account and set him up for success. Spike the German Shepherd puppy has been enjoying our training club classes together, even though the weather hasn't been in our favour so far! We had warm weather for our first class and heavy rain yesterday. That didn't stop Spike from having fun learning are things. I've decided to lengthen the closing date of my raffle! I haven't chosen an exact date yet, but I'm looking at keeping the raffle open until end of September. I want to try and raise as much money as possible as the money raised will be split between a few dog rescues that I've chosen, which are Stokenchurch Dog Rescue, Saving Pound Dogs Cyprus - SPDC and Ammochostos Dog Rescuers. These 3 dog rescues are amazing, I've done a lot of work over the years raising money and collecting donations for Stokenchurch Dog Rescue and I had the chance to visit Saving Pound Dogs Cyprus and Ammochostos Dog Rescuers back in March when I travelled to Cyprus with the Pet Professional Network to volunteer at some dog rescues.
