Tiki hydro
The handsome extra large extra long Tiki, a 10 year old Northern Inuit has hydrotherapy for arthritis. He's got a wonderful personality and since seeing where the doggie digestive biscuits are in the building, he won't leave until he's had one π
Dave snoring after hydro
Aww I do love it when customers send me gorgeous videos or photos of their content dogs after hydro π₯°
Don't know about you but there's something lovely about hearing a dog snore yet if Jim did it, he'd get a swift dig in the ribs π€£π€£
Dottys Hydro Journey
I'm absolutely heartbroken to have to tell you that our one and only Dotty dog went over the rainbow π yesterday πππ
Dotty was referred to me almost 2 years ago to the day and she shared the same birthday as my Mac who was my only reason for investing a future in hydrotherapy. They both also passed in their 10th year.
Dotty was referred after having C6-C7 intervertebral disc extrusion and was also diagnosed with Cervical Spondylomyelopathy.
Cervical spondylomyelopathy, commonly referred to as wobbler syndrome, is a disease of the spine within the neck, resulting in poor transmission of nerve signals between the brain and the body. There can be various morphological problems of the bones of the neck in affected dogs.
Dotty started looking lame around two and a half years ago and then quite quickly started losing co-ordination. She had an operation to prevent paralysis but the surgery was complicated and it left her unable to bear weight whatsoever. She arrived laying on her side, only able to lift her head. She started her intense hydro and physio journey. Thank you to Katherine @ Hills Hydrotherapy for all your help and letting me initially use your pool π
This darling girl who thank the lord lived for food!! (Otherwise I don't think we would have got much out of the stubborn little whatsit π₯°) has been one of the longest members of the HydroMac family and will be missed beyond belief. During a journey like this, you don't just bond with the dog, you gain a close relationship with the owners.
Love and hugs to Dotty's family who are absolutely devastated. My door is always open xx
Sleep tight beautiful Dot Dot and share those sausages with my Mac β€π§‘
All our love, HydroMacDOTcom

Joey swim
Joey says Dear Santa, I've been a good boy and would love a sack full of tennis balls! No other type of ball does it for me...it has to be a tennis ball!
Amber
Meet Amber who has hydrotherapy for hip dysplasia, a gorgeous lab girl with the most waggy tail ever! I've never known anything like it! When she really gets going, water goes absolutely everywhere from wall to wall π€£π€£ She's such a love. β€
Joey play time
Great to have some play time with Joey before his swim. He's so ball obsessed that I was trying him out with some other options and will get him some toys for his playpen that I'm lending his dad so that Joey doesn't get sore from carpet burns as he zooms about the place. Unfortunately he wasn't at all interested in the snuffle mat and he isnt into treats. That would have been a great mind stimulting indoor game for him.
Joey will come over once a week so I can check he and his dad are OK, have a play in the garden, have a swim and a good wash and dry.
Effie
Meet gorgeous 13year old Effie the tiny little whippet β€ Her mum warned me she hates water, walks around puddles and goes back inside when it's raining!
This little love who suffers with arthritis, especially in her lumber region and hind legs, just walked into the machine, took no notice of the warm water filling up and just got on with it π₯°
