This afternoon Duncan swapped his lorry for the tractor and trailer to top up our Biomass Renewable Energy System that works to fuel the entire site at home 🔋

We think you’ll agree it’s some job… but worth it to be eco-friendly ♻️

Do you have breakdown recovery for your trailer? For many years Jen Milne has been paying annually for horse trailer recovery from the Organisation of Horsebox and Trailer Owners. This not only recovers your horse box, but, very importantly, your horses too.
Recently, we had the misfortune to have a suspension failure on her horse trailer (I'll do a separate post on that in due course). Family came up trumps with another box to let us complete our journey (that's a whole story in itself), and, through the breakdown insurance, the horses were brought home. Top marks to Ayr Equestrian Horse Transport for excellent service bringing all the boys up the road in their new-to-them13.5 Mercedes lorry and also to Peter Beck Horsetrailers for his usual, extremely rapid service sourcing the required parts for repairing the trailer. The moral of the tail? Saving money by not having recovery might be a false economy...
