Hi all we just delivered the donations of food to RATS - Rehoming Animal Telephone Service 🎉🎊 You may have noticed I've been quiet on here as we had to sadly let our boy Kobe go back to rats who we rescued there two and a half years ago. Many of you know and love Kobe but he was sadly bullying our boy Hanzo and we decided both boys would be happier without eachother. I haven't stopped crying but I spoke to Julie who runs Rats while we were there and she was telling me all about the fun he's having and being well taken care of, which has helped alot.
We will always support rats as they have been on amazing both sides, adopting and rehoming.

As many of you know our little man has been poorly, we went to Grimsby Friday for an MRI scan, we finally have answers to his mystery illness. He has degenerative disc disease with one of his disc breaking and putting pressure on his spinal cord, he will be on strict rest and lots of tablets etc no surgery needed but it will be something we need to manage for the rest of his life. Thanks everyone for sending him well wishes etc ❤️

Until I climatise I won't be taking many pics ❄️🥶❄️🥶 sorry so little this week my hands can't bare it 😂❄️🥶!

As many of you know we stopped gifting Christmas presents last year and started donating what we would spend to our local dog charity, this year we wondered if you wanted to contribute instead of treating us ? 🥰 Bags of dog kibble, treats, pouches, toys anything that will cheer up the dogs living in kennels without a home ❤️ it will be for the charity we rescued our Kobe ( the bulldog ) from RATS - Rehoming Animal Telephone Service we will collect it all and pop it over near Christmas 🎄🎁

We are going to be unavailable on the 29th of November and here's why --
Our little guy Hanzo has been poorly for two months as many of you know, we have done X rays, bloods, ultrasound, elimination diet and seen a physiotherapist with all tests coming back perfect which of course is great but it doesn't give us answers. He stopped using his back legs suddenly and has been hunched over like a cat,he's normally the most active boy, now he's struggling, his gabapentin are managing his pain but we have now booked him in for an MRI. This all happened two weeks After his insurance ran out and we have been raising money through go fund me from his amazing fans on insta and FB (he's a bit of a celebrity 😂😅) we haven't quite reached out goal so I was hoping you could share or donate towards it and we would be eternally grateful. I've hated to ask as I'm not one to ask for help but Hanzo is a special little guy and basically our baby 💗

Welcome to paws in herts !

We are a family run business that will take care of your pets like they are part of the family.

We are Jadie and Ollie. Jadie has been running Paws in Herts since 2011 and Ollie joined the team in Feb 2020. We have 4 dogs, 2 Brussels Griffons Mei and Hanzo and two rescues, Rosie a blind pug cross and Diesel a deaf 15 year old Eurasier! We also have a tortoise, Shelly. We have both had many pets over our lives, including reptiles, birds and even farm animals. We also have experience with dogs with special requirements that need a little extra TLC. We have so much passion for animals and we understand they are part of the family. We are both animal first aid qualified and insured.
