MISSING CAT......BANCHORY BUDDIES.

This puss has gone missing from Banchory Lodge Caravan Park Area of Banchory .

Neutered and chipped seal point Persian. Last seen yesterday. He is timid so probably won't approach anyone. Owner is increasingly worried with it being such a hot day and a much loved family pet.

Aboyne buddies please check all sheds and garages. Lana is missing from the Balnagowan Wynd area of Aboyne.

My beautiful black cat Lana hasn’t come home which is not like her. We have not seen her since Friday evening. This was her on Friday. She can be aloof with others but was very affectionate with me as ever on Friday, although her wee friend Jeffrey the grey cat from over the road returned from holiday and strangely, she ran under the shed. They are often to be found hanging out together. Another black cat from the area was about and actually ran through my house and the two do not seem keen on each other. Lana is quite the huntress,staying out all night and sleeping through the heat during the day in the bushes/trees. However, she has never been gone this long and nearly aways pops back and wanders in and out through the day. She is all black with literally 2/3 strands of white on her chest. It’s early days but if you see her (I’m Balnagowan Wynd - the first section with just the 7 houses before the bend and the trees/field)please do send me a message because we are becoming concerned, especially as the weather is due to turn and rainstorms on the horizon. She is microchipped etc but won’t wear a collar. She is friendly but always on high alert and I doubt she would come to you. She is 22 mths . Please share. Thank you x

No collar or microchip
She has had first aid and pain relief this morning

Like most we are now fundraising again for the branch. Over the next few months we will be attending various events across Deeside where volunteer availability allows. Ballater Duck Festival, Ballater Victoria week, hopefully farmers markets, possibly a jumble sale, Soup & Pudding lunch or a coffee morning.

Ending the end of the year with the BIG fundraising event. But what could it be. Any suggestions welcome. Many of you know me(Liz) and know I do some daft events so what could it be? Well it's something the whole community and further can get involved in and have fun, testing your limits and possibly fears? Whilst raising much needed funds for the cats 🐈. Further details will follow soon but what could it be? Please comment below.

Anyone in the Midmar area know this puss? Long haired tabby. Been around the finders house for some weeks. Is timid but not feral. Happy to sneak through cat flap and eat and sleep. Finders have asked around locally and on social media both personal and local groups. Will be scanned for a chip.

Mini has gone walk about again. She does like to go visit people but she does have a family home. Missing from the Bellwood area of Aboyne. Mini is is a much loved family pet and her sibling is missing her terribly. Mini is extremely friendly and loves to say hello to everyone. Please get in touch if you see her so we can get her home. Hasn't been seen since the middle of last week which is very unlike her.

He usually lives with us humans in Bellwood Drive when he's not off gallivanting!
He's been on his adventures for a little longer than normal so we would be very grateful if you could keep a look out for him.
If he has conned you into thinking he doesn't have a home and you're feeding him, please don't as the greedy so and so won't leave...
He is quite unusual looking with orange/amber eyes.

MISHKA has not been seen since yesterday which is very out of character. She isn't one to go far. She is chipped. She does have distinctive markings as you can see from the picture.

Please can you check all sheds and garages and share.

We have one devastated family who haven't slept and are so worried.

Available. Direct rehoming. We have been asked to help find homes for some outdoor cats. All have been neutered and blood tested. They are not feral. They just prefer to live outside. Like being around people. Varying ages up to about 5 years. Perfect moucers. Deeside area preferred or if you can travel and meet somewhere. All fit and healthy. Sadly change of circumstances. Rural area only.

Incident in Logie Coldstone.

Please be aware there are some graphic images in this post so look away if you are of nervous disposition.

Today I was contacted by the owner of a cat who I know very well to make us aware as they don't want another family to go through what they are currently going through.

I don't normally post graphic images but this needs highlighting as it's a serious matter and this concerns us greatly. Also please be aware the SSPCA and Police are involved. So please be mindful of this as we don't want to jeopardise anything.

The shot has been removed and will be passed on to Police and SSPCA for analysis.

Yesterday, this cats owner found him seriously injured after being missing for a few days. He was rushed immediately to the vets.

He has undergone emergency surgery.

He was shot with a shotgun as you may see from the spread. He has to go through more surgery on Monday as you will see some of the shot is close to the spine. He would have been in a huge amount of pain but he managed to drag himself home to safety. He is a very much loved family pet and they are devastated someone could be so cruel as we are. Obviously they are concerned for others. He is very lucky to be alive. His family are so upset and are worried sick.

This is unacceptable. A poor defenceless animal. If anyone knows or hears anything please contact the police or SSPCA. It's a small community so someone will probably know something and no doubt the person responsible will not be able to keep this 'story's to themselves. This incident may well hit the media and we don't condone any form of cruelty.

We don't want this to happen to other cats.

Our thoughts are with the family at this time.
