Everyone meet our gorgeous boy Finn. He is a collie aged 2 years old. Finn is a fun loving boy who is ready to bring fun to any home. He is such a quiet boy that the only time I hear him barking is when he’s out chasing his doggie friends. Finn is a big favourite with all the volunteers here at the shelter. Everyone loves spending time with him as he’s such a gentle character. He is 100% housetrained and just wants to be by your side. Winston is a handsome 9 month old Labrador looking for his special home. He is a smart young boy who is looking someone that is committed to putting in the training and giving him the best future possible. Winston has got such an affection side and loves to jump up for big hugs despite being so down and anxious in kennels. He is good with other dogs but does need more training on socialising with them. Like any rescue dog Winston will need his new owner to be at home for a while so it gives him the opportunity he needs to settle in .He is always up for a game with his toys especially cuddly toys and tennis balls. Star is a 3-year-old collie and is looking for her forever home.
Star only has three legs, but it is no issue for her as she manages them very well. She has the most adorable eyes, a loveable temperament, and a cheeky side. Star loves plenty of fuss and belly rubs. She likes people and is generally friendly but does bark at the odd person, so she starts to feel comfortable. Usually, a good walk breaks the ice.

Everyone meet Jimmy who is a collie / lab. He is 7mths old and has the best temperament. Jimmy is a loveable and playful little pup with so much love to give . Playtime is his LIFE ! He loves toys and will play all day long. Jimmy would benefit from a good secure garden that he can run about in and call his own. He is a happy and curious little fella and is fantastic on lead with no pulling or messing about. He is very good at listening, recall and he gives the best cuddle’s. He will wrap his paws around you and never wants to let go . Jimmy will require all the basic housetraining skills again. Jimmy loves to be around you and watching whatever you’re doing. He gets on great with other dogs for a play and chase but will require a meet and greet session. He is a clever boy who has bundles of energy and is a lot of fun to be around . He would be a great addition to any family with kids as he would love all the fun and interaction. He finds the noisy kennel environment too much and becomes very jumpy in kennels which walking by puts people off him. But when he’s away from kennels he’s such a different and happy little dog . Being in kennels at 7mths of age for Jimmy is heartbreaking as that’s when we see a change in his character. He gets this sadness in him where you can see how unhappy he is and when returning to his kennel . He gets very anxious and restless with a worrying expression on his little face. Jimmy has so much growth and potential to give his forever home.
