We are so pleased to see that Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council have agreed to an independent third-party assessment of Max - the abandoned pup that was picked up on 10th December 2024.

Like many of you, we have been captured by his story and have been following it closely, working with the USPCA in efforts to see a positive outcome for Max.

We want to make sure that the outcome of this further independent assessment is made public - and you can help by emailing the local councillors at Lisburn and Castlereagh Council to request that the outcome of this assessment is shared publicly as soon as possible.

Sad little man.

Dog abuser, Stephen Morrison, was remanded in custody this morning after a judge refused his bail application, stating that no address would be suitable, given that the case is so high profile and his safety would be at risk.

Should a suitable bail address be found (unlikely) then he is to have no contact with animals until the case concludes.
