Thank you for all the support over the last few months while we've got Aberdeenshire Equine Salt Therapy up and running.

On this chilly snowy day we thought we'd give you a quick reminder that our sessions take 20 minutes and we always recommend starting with at least 3 sessions. Sessions must take place on consecutive days and are only ever given once per day.

Each session costs £40 and the number of sessions required will depend on your horse's symptoms. This can all be discussed in more detail, feel free to get in touch for a chat.

A little science for you today...

Our equine salt therapy system offers a cleansing process which can help your animal feel a lot more clear in its respiratory system. This helps to restore the animal's ultimate capacity to breathe which in turn helps provide as much oxygen into the blood as possible. And as we know, more oxygen in the blood means raised energy levels as well as immune system functionality.

It's a simple but effective process, and we'd be happy to talk through any questions you may have so feel free to get in touch.

Breathing is one of the biggest influences and factors causing health issues in horses. Issues such as unwanted mucus building up in the lower lung areas which will of course inhibit optimal breathing for the animal.

Our salt therapy system circulates microscopic particles of salt that travel down into the lower lung area and break up or dilute any unwanted mucus, clearing the bronchial canals and reaching the areas where issues can arise.

The salt therapy we offer was developed by Darren Torrens of Newmarket Equine Salt Therapy System. Having lived and worked with horses all his life and having seen what salt therapy could do for humans, he wanted to find a way of replicating the system for horses to see if it could help understand some unanswered questions in the equine community.

Needless to say, the system has been a great success and many horses (and thus their owners/riders) are reaping the benefits of this form of therapy.
