☀️🐾 some of todays visitors enjoying the lovely weather 🐾☀️

After the disruption of storm Amy over the weekend, it was lovely to see so many dogs using Gamrie Dog Field today 😁.
The sunshine was out 😎 and with it came happy walking tales and happy moments in our secure space.
Thank you to all the owners who booked in and made the most of the good weather, well until the thunder and rain arrived that is ⛈️🫣.
Bookings are open as usual and we look forward to seeing more of you soon ☺️.

🚧 Road Closure – We’re Still Open! 🚧

Just a quick heads-up for anyone visiting our dog field this week, especially from the Fraserburgh direction 🐾

The B9031 Fraserburgh–Pennan road will be closed from Monday 8th September 2025 for 5 days. The official diversion is (as usual 🙄) a bit of a trek!

👉 Our recommended route:
• Follow the official diversion up the main road until just before New Pitsligo
• Turn left near Glasslaw (look for the green marker on the map attached to this post)
• Follow the Windyheads Road until the Pennan junction
• Turn left there and you’ll be back on the usual road to us!

If you have an existing booking and would prefer to reschedule, not a problem, get in touch and we’ll arrange that for you 🐶💚

UPDATE 7.50am 2/9/25
Both dogs have just been picked up by owner and are safe and well. Thanks to everyone help make this happen 🤩

‼️ Has anyone seen a collie and a beagle lost from New Aberdour area today 1st September 2025❓

Both dogs from same household and have been gone for several hours now.

Any information please comment on this post or message me directly and I’ll pass information on to the very worried owners.

Please share to raise awareness so we can hopefully get these two pups home safely and quickly.

🌿🐶 Gamrie Dog Field Update + Harbucks volunteers/home bakes 🍰🐾

Gamrie Dog Field will be open as usual this week, but I’ll also be lending a hand at Harbucks — a pop up cafe run by volunteers raising funds this week for The Dreel Hall , Gardenstown Public Hall — so I might be a bit slower replying to messages. Thanks for your patience!

💚 We’d LOVE your help!
We’re looking for friendly folk to volunteer a couple of hours here and there — no experience needed, just a smile! Or if baking’s more your thing, we’d be so grateful for any donations of home bakes 🧁🍰🍪🍩.

☕️ If you can’t help out, that’s totally fine — just pop by for a coffee, tea, juice, pancakes, or a fine piece… all with a cracking view over the harbour ⚓️🦈🦞🌅🚤!
🐶 Harbucks is dog friendly too — outdoor tables welcome well-behaved dogs on leads.

We are a very small committe and We would be very grateful for home bakes and fancy piece donations 🧁🧁

We still have some shift that need covered, particularly at the end of the week, volunteers would be very welcome.
