📣 Lost Property Found at Gamrie Dog Field 🐾

This travel mug was found yesterday (June 18th) at Gamrie Dog Field, sitting on one of the posts in the airlock parking area. If it’s yours—or you know who it belongs to—please get in touch so we can get it back to its rightful owner! ☕💬

We’ve also collected various other bits and bobs over time—so if you think you might have left something behind while using the field, just give us a shout and we’ll check our lost and found stash. You’d be surprised what’s in there! 😅

It’s an absolute cracker of a day down at Gamrie Dog Field! ☀️🐾 The dogs are loving it, and we’re loving how good the A-frame is looking after a fresh coat of paint and some smart new signage – big thanks to CKM Designs for sorting us out 👏, fab job as usual and really appreciate having such a great service so local to us!

Perfect day for a run around – come see for yourself! 🐕🌿

🌿 Behind the Scenes at Gamrie Dog Field 🐾

While your pups are having the time of their lives, we’re quietly working away in the background to keep the field safe, clean and enjoyable for everyone 🛠️✨

From regular grass cutting and painting, to scrubbing surfaces with pet-safe disinfectant and weeding by hand – it’s all part of the care we put into the space. Around the willow trees, we’re also using pet-safe Strulch Garden Mulch to gently suppress weeds without harming the environment 🌾🌳

We’ve got a few lovely additions coming soon too… some will make your visits even better, and others are designed to support local biodiversity and the wonderful wildlife that calls the field home 🐞🦋🕊️

‼️One to be aware of for next Sunday (1st June 2025) for all those who travel to us via Banff‼️

UPDATE 26.5.25

We can confirm that access will remain throughout the bridge closure for pedestrians and cyclists.

To enable us to carry out an inspection and gully repairs, the A98 at Banff Bridge will be closed from the A947 to Bridge Road for one day on Sunday, June 1 from 6am to 5pm.

Should these works not be able to proceed as planned, a back-up date of Sunday, June 8 is in place.

Access will be provided for emergency services throughout the closure.

The recommended detour is via the A947 to Turriff, Turriff via Banff Road, Fife Street, The Square, Market Street, Church Street, Gladstone Terrace, Deveron Street and Deveron Road to B9025, B9025 to A97 at Aberchirder, A97 to Banff, and Banff via Sandyhill Road to the A98.

We appreciate that working on roads can cause some inconvenience to users, but we would ask that you bear with us as we carry out these essential improvements.
