We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Barber Hairstylist to join our busy appointment-only Men's Hair Salon based in Newport, Gwent. As a Senior Barber Hairstylist, you will have the opportunity to showcase your exceptional talent and expertise in delivering top-notch grooming services to our discerning clientele.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality barbering and hairstyling services to clients, specializing in men's grooming needs.
- Offer expert advice and recommendations on different hairstyles, facial hair grooming, and overall grooming routines.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by ensuring client satisfaction and building long-lasting relationships.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in men's grooming, attending training sessions and workshops as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly sanitized and in good working condition.
- Collaborate with the team to create a welcoming and professional salon environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Senior Barber Hairstylist, preferably in a similar appointment-only salon environment.
- Extensive knowledge of men's grooming techniques, hair cutting, styling, and facial hair grooming.
- Proficiency in using a wide range of barbering tools and equipment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to understand and meet clients' specific needs.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver precise and tailored haircuts and styles.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid barbering or hairstyling license.
