⚠️ Important Information - Fleas! ⚠️
Unfortunately I've been seeing a lot of fleas recently on the dogs I groom. Summer is prime flea season so it's extremely important to keep on top of treating your dog and house for fleas to keep them at bay (even if you don't see any fleas). Most products advise treating monthly to prevent infestations. Please note that the products that can be bought at pet shops aren't always as effective as those supplied at the vets. See the products I'd recommend below.

🐾 Indorex spray - for treating the home
🐾 Nexgard - a chewable tablet for your dog to treat fleas & ticks
🐾 Nexgard spectra - chewable tablet to treat fleas, ticks & some types of worms.
*Frontline is becoming less effective nowadays which is why it's not included here*

Not only are fleas and ticks uncomfortable for your dog but they can cause illness and severe skin irritations in some cases. Your dog doesn't need to come into contact with other dogs to get them, fleas & ticks can hide anywhere indoors or outdoors & jump onto your pet. Cat fleas can also be found on dogs so if you have cats as well as dogs, treat all pets at the same time with species appropriate treatments.

If your dog/cat comes to the salon with fleas this will incur an extra charge due to having to treat for fleas and cancel following appointments for the day. In extreme cases I would have to refuse the groom.

Embarrassing selfie time!! I think a lot of groomers neglect their own hair..me being one of them 🙈🤣..it's been about 8 months since I had mine done so I finally treated it to the full works at Beyond Perfection and it looks and smells amazing! Highly recommend 🥰💇‍♀️

⚠️With high temperatures this week please rearrange your appointment if you have to walk your dog to me. I'm also trying to schedule to ensure all appointments are done earlier in the day to beat the heat. If you have a car with air con no need to worry, the salon is nice and cool and water is always available for them 🐾
In the meantime keep them cool with lots of frozen Lickimats and kongs or a paddling pool in the garden (preferably in a shaded spot) if they like water! ☀️
