BRUCE is a lovely male cat who came to us via the Inspectorate team. He is quite timid and needs a home with someone who will spend time with him whilst he gains his confidence. He would suit an adult home or he could be ok with children over 11 years old. Bruce is only young and really deserves a second chance at a happy life. He uses his litter tray without any problems and would need a safe garden or yard area that is away from busy roads for when he’s ready to venture outside. TALIA is a gorgeous, friendly and confident girl aged approximately 4 months old. She enjoys playing with her toys and likes to settle on a lap for a nap. CAT FOSTER CARERS NEEDED - Could you foster one of our branch cats for us? We always have waiting lists miles long of cats needing to come in to branch care and we desperately need more foster carers. If you could offer one of our lovely cats a local, temporary foster home (Keighley, Skipton, Ilkley) All you need to provide is a calm, loving environment and we will provide all the basics needed. It’s looking like it’s going to be hot over the next few days. Whilst we all enjoy the nicer weather, please take care when exercising your dog and restrict walks to the cooler parts of the day (early mornings or evenings) Here’s some handy tips to avoid heat exhaustion for your furry friends.

☀️🐶 Don’t leave dogs in conservatories, caravans and never in a hot car.
☀️ 🐶 Ensure pets have access to shade and plenty of fresh drinking water.
☀️ 🐶 Put ice cubes in your pets drinking water or make some tasty ice cube treats.
☀️ 🐶 Some dogs may appreciate a paddling pool to splash around in.

QUEENIE HAS BEEN RE-HOMED.
This lovely fluffball is 7 years old and looking for a new home after her owner sadly passed away. Queenie can be quite timid at first but will let you stroke her when she gets to know you. She isn’t a cuddly lap cat and hasn’t been used to being handled a lot. We think Queenie would be ok as a permanent house cat but some supervised access to the outside would also be great for her. ANGUS, the handsome tabby boy is in foster care and ready for his new home. He is aged approximately 1-2 years old and is an affectionate boy and enjoys playing with his toys. EDEN is a lovely Black & white girl with a beautiful face. She is 12 months old and came to us with her sister Tori, they can be adopted as a pair but they will also be fine to go separately too. Eden is a good eater and is very clean, always using her litter tray. She is gaining confidence in foster care and now likes a head tickle. She will need an owner who has time and patience to gain her confidence and trust. Eden also loves to sit looking out of the window and keeping a check on what’s going on. TORI is a beautiful white and black girl who is 12 months old. She came to us with her sister Eden and they could be adopted as a pair but will also be fine to go separately too. Tori has gained confidence and trust whilst in branch foster care and will sit on the fosterers lap, but it’s on her time and terms. She likes cat nip toys and to sit looking out of the window. RYA & RIVER are our two shy sisters aged approximately 6 months old. They need a home together in a quieter environment, ideally with a cat experienced owner. River is the more confident of the two while Rya is a little more nervous around people but will settle with you once she has gained her confidence. They both love to play, chase around and then to snuggle up together for a nice nap. They will need a safe outdoor space that’s away from busy roads for when they are ready to venture outdoors and they would also be best suited to an adult only home. *CAT NEUTERING* If you have a cat that goes outdoors - please do the right thing and arrange a neutering appointment at your vets asap. Rescue centres are all overflowing with unwanted/abandoned cats & kittens - plus kitten season will only add to this pressure. If you would struggle with the cost of neutering your cat, please email us and we can discuss how we can help you with the vet’s fees. Also, don’t forget, from next month it becomes law that all cats have to be micro-chipped or owners could face a £500 fine.
